Comparison questions need both sides developed. An answer that describes one region well and mentions the other in a clause has answered half the question.

Anchor every claim in a time and a place. Global-scale statements without a named society, empire or network read as generalisation, and generalisation is what the rubric is designed to filter out.

Continuity matters as much as change. Prompts that ask what stayed the same are asking a real historical question, not offering an easier option.
