Tips
Do the free-response section under time pressure. It is long, and students who only ever practise untimed run out of time on the real paper rather than out of chemistry.
Read the scoring guidelines for the explanation marks, not the arithmetic. They show exactly how specific "explain in terms of intermolecular forces" has to be — usually naming the force and comparing two substances, not describing it in general.
Redo, don't just review. A question you have read the answer to teaches almost nothing; the same question worked again a week later, closed-book, is what moves a grade.
