all全quán + nom : l'ensemble en un seul geste

whole family全家quán jiāall / both都dōu去过qù guòBeijing, capital of the…北京běi jīng。 (Quán jiā dōu qù guo Běijīng.) — Toute notre famille est allée à Pékin.

Pékin. this这个zhè gearea地方dì fāngthe whole year全年quán niánall / both都dōudegree / adjective linker很hěnto warm up热rè。

tout au long de l'année. all全quán devant un nom signifie « tout, entier ». Il se fixe à un petit ensemble de noms « entiers » — body身shēn (corps), home家jiā (famille), country国guó (pays), world世界shì jiè (monde), (bound form) school校xiào (école),

grain年nián (année) — et il exige un all / both都dōu dans le prédicat pour faire écho au « tous ». La règle d'or à retenir : all全quán ne prend jamais de (modifier / structural particle)的de. whole family全家quán jiā ✓, all全quán(modifier / structural particle)的dehome家jiā ✗. À vous. Un camarade écrit all全quán(modifier / structural particle)的dehome家jiāall / both都dōuto come来lái(completed / change)了le。 Corrigez-le : le (modifier / structural particle)的de doit disparaître — whole family全家quán jiāall / both都dōuto come来lái(completed / change)了le。 (Quán jiā dōu lái le.) — Toute la famille est venue.

La seule règle à graver : all全quán ne prend pas (modifier / structural particle)的de. whole family全家quán jiā ✓, all全quán(modifier / structural particle)的dehome家jiā ✗.

    Essayez-le. Un camarade écrit all全quán(modifier / structural particle)的dehome家jiāall / both都dōuto come来lái(completed / change)了le。 Corrigez : le (modifier / structural particle)的de doit disparaître — whole family全家quán jiāall / both都dōuto come来lái(completed / change)了le。

(Quán jiā dōu lái le.) — Toute la famille est venue.

    Faites attention

    • L'endroit où not不bù se place change tout : all全都quán dōu不去bù qù (quán dōu bù qù) signifie "personne ne va". « aller du tout », tandis que not不bùall全都quán dōuto go去qù (bù quán dōu qù) signifie « ils ne vont pas tous ».

    Adjectif + to die死sǐ(completed / change)了le : « à mourir, extrêmement »

    Structure : (Sujet +) Adjectif + to die死sǐ(completed / change)了le

    I / me我wǒto starve to death饿死è sǐ(completed / change)了le! (Wǒ è sǐ le!) — Je suis affamé !

today今天jīn tiān累死lèi sǐ(completed / change)了le! (Jīntiān lèi sǐ le!) — Je suis épuisé aujourd'hui !

这件zhè jiànclothes衣服yī fú丑死chǒu sǐ(completed / change)了le。

Le sujet est optionnel, ce qui explique pourquoi les exclamations monosyllabiques comme to starve to death饿死è sǐ(completed / change)了le ! fonctionnent seules. 累死lèi sǐ(completed / change)了le ✓, rope累lèi(degree marker)得deto die死sǐ(completed / change)了le ✗.

Dites :

热死rè sǐ(completed / change)了le!

    Faites attention

    • to die死sǐ(completed / change)了le est la cousine dramatique de extremely极了jí le — plus fort, plus familier et principalement utilisé pour exprimer la souffrance : rope累lèi fatigué, to be hungry饿è affamé, to warm up热rè chaud, shameful丑chǒu laid.

    all全quán + N + all / both都dōu + V tout X, tout entier neutre pas de (modifier / structural particle)的de ; all / both都dōu fait écho au « tout »
    all全quán + N + all / both都dōu + V tout X, l'intégralité neutre pas de (modifier / structural particle)的de ; all / both都dōu fait écho au "tout"
Adjectif + to die死sǐ(completed / change)了le extrêmement, …

« The whole class passed » est un rapport neutre : the whole class全班quán bānall / both都dōuto pass through通过tōng guò(completed / change)了le。 (Quán bān dōu tōngguò le.) « I'm dying of tiredness » est une plainte entre amis : 累死lèi sǐ(completed / change)了le。

    1. whole family全家quán jiāall / both都dōuto come来lái(completed / change)了le ou all全quán(modifier / structural particle)的dehome家jiāall / both都dōuto come来lái(completed / change)了le — lequel est correct, et pourquoi ?
    2. Quelle est la différence entre all全都quán dōu不去bù qù et not不bùall全都quán dōuto go去qù ?
    3. Quel adjectif NE convient PAS à to die死sǐ(completed / change)了le au HSK 4 — rope累lèi, to be hungry饿è, happy高兴gāo xìng, ou shameful丑chǒu ?

(Réponses : 1. whole family全家quán jiāall / both都dōuto come来lái(completed / change)了le — all全quán ne prend pas de (modifier / structural particle)的de. 2.

Les adverbes du HSK 4 remplissent cinq fonctions : mesurer (about the same差不多chà bu duō, almost差点chà diǎn, just now刚gāng, enough (sufficient)够gòu), juger et réaliser (apparently看来kàn lái, original原来yuán lái, original本来běn lái, outcome结果jié guǒ, fear恐怕kǒng pà, unexpectedly竟然jìng rán), renforcer (used in 可汗可kě…(completed / change)了le, even甚至shèn zhì, again又yòu + not不bù/not / haven't没méi, ten million千万qiān wàn, then / just就jiù + sujet), insister sur une question (finally到底dào dǐ, to go to the bottom of a…究竟jiū jìng, don't tell me ...难道nán dào), et conseiller ou obliger (to have no other option but…只好zhǐ hǎo, have no choice or option…不得不bù dé bù, best最好zuì hǎo, or / still还是hái shì…(suggestion)吧ba). Deux autres structures gèrent la séquence et la portée : early先xiān…again / then再zài… et one / a一yī + mesureur + one / a一yī + mesureur, plus always从来cóng láiall / both都dōu, also也yěall / both都dōu et just (in time)正好zhèng hǎo.

L'examen teste la position et l'association, pas le vocabulaire : si all / both都dōu apparaît, où se place not不bù, quel adverbe convient à quel sentiment. Dites chaque exemple à haute voix.

Mesurer : à peu près, de justesse, juste, assez

À peu près se décompose lui-même : used in 参差差chà (différence) + not不bù (pas) + many多duō (beaucoup) = "pas si loin" — "à peu près la même chose, plus ou moins." Il fonctionne seul comme prédicat, relie deux éléments (A with / and跟gēn B about the same差不多chà bu duō), ou précède une quantité (about the same差不多chà bu duō十点shí diǎn "vers dix heures").

Shanghai municipality…上海shàng hǎiand / with和héNew York纽约niǔ yuēabout the same差不多chà bu duō。 (Shànghǎi hé Niǔyuē chàbuduō.) — Shanghai et New York sont très similaires.

Pour plusieurs éléments, ajoutez all / both都dōu : this这zhèa few几个jǐ gèall / both都dōuabout the same差不多chà bu duō (zhè jǐ ge dōu chàbuduō) — ceux-ci sont tous plus ou moins les mêmes.

war chariot (archaic)车chēalmost差点chà diǎnto knock against撞zhuàngto / arrive到dàoI / me我wǒ。

La particularité célèbre : almost差点chà diǎnnot / haven't没méito fall down摔倒shuāi dǎo (chàdiǎn méi shuāidǎo) signifie toujours "j'ai failli tomber" — le not / haven't没méi ajoute une nuance émotionnelle, pas une logique.

Avec une durée, il n'a pas besoin du mot "il y a" : he / him他tājust now刚gāngto come来láiChina中国zhōng guó两个liǎng gèmoon月yuè。 Ne le confondez pas avec le nom just now (variant of 刚才)刚才gāng cái, qui désigne un moment précis dans le passé récent. China juste il y a deux mois. Ne le confondez pas avec le nom just now (variant of 刚才)刚才gāng cái, qui marque un point dans le passé récent.

I / me我wǒ受够了shòu gòu le! (Wǒ shòugòu le!) — J'en ai marre. Assez !

Essayez. Vous avez failli rater votre bus ce matin mais l'avez attrapé : I / me我wǒtoday今天jīn tiānalmost差点chà diǎnnot / haven't没méito keep up with赶上gǎn shàngbus公共汽车gōng gòng qì chē。

Dans la perspective de quelqu'un : in my opinion在我看来zài wǒ kàn lái (zài wǒ kànlái). Ne pas le confondre avec seemingly看起来kàn qǐ lái, qui rapporte simplement ce que vos yeux voient. le point de vue de quelqu'un : in my opinion在我看来zài wǒ kàn lái (zài wǒ kànlái). apparently看来kàn láihe / him他tānot不bùto come来lái(completed / change)了le。 (Kànlái tā bù lái le.) — Il semble qu'il ne viendra pas.

original原来yuán lái porte deux chapeaux : "original, ancien" (original原来yuán lái(modifier / structural particle)的de + nom) et l'éclair de génie "ça tombe bien / il s'avère" : original原来yuán láiyou你nǐto be / is是shìteacher老师lǎo shī(exclamation)啊a! (Yuánlái nǐ shì lǎoshī a!) « il s'avère » : original原来yuán láiyou你nǐto be / is是shìteacher老师lǎo shī(exclamation)啊a! (Yuánlái nǐ shì lǎoshī a!) — Ah, tu es professeur ?

original本来běn lái signifie "à l'origine — mais ça a changé". Il introduit un revirement : I / me我wǒoriginal本来běn láiwant / will / need要yàoto go去qù(modifier / structural particle)的de,but可是kě shìafterwards后来hòu láiillness病bìng(completed / change)了le。 Avec then / just就jiù, original本来běn láithen / just就jiù signifie "c'était évident / c'était toujours le cas". then / just就jiù, original本来běn láithen / just就jiù signifie "bien sûr, c'était toujours le cas".

outcome结果jié guǒ ouvre la seconde proposition avec une issue souvent indésirable : she / her她tāto wear穿chuān(degree marker)得detoo太tàiyoung少shǎo,outcome结果jié guǒto catch cold感冒gǎn mào(completed / change)了le。

unexpectedly竟然jìng rán est une expression à couper le souffle — « inattendu, entre toutes les choses » : so much这么zhè medifficult / hard难nán(modifier / structural particle)的detopic题tí,he / him他tāunexpectedly竟然jìng ránto make做zuòto / towards / correct对duì(completed / change)了le。 L'élément après even甚至shèn zhì doit être l'objet le plus surprenant, pas simplement un autre. again又yòu + not不bù / not / haven't没méi exprime le hausse d'épaules « ce n'est pas comme si » — défensif, argumentatif, sans lien avec « encore » : to ask问wènI / me我wǒsee 干嘛干吗gàn má?I / me我wǒagain又yòunot不bùto know知道zhī dào。 (Wèn wǒ gànmá? Wǒ yòu bù zhīdào.) — Pourquoi me demander ?

Cela convient aux suppliques et avertissements, pas aux énoncés neutres. then / just就jiù + sujet met en évidence la faible quantité — « seulement » : everyone大家dà jiāall / both都dōuto finish work下班xià bān(completed / change)了le,then / just就jiùboss老板lǎo bǎnstill / also还háinot / haven't没méito walk走zǒu。 Une petite quantité proche signifie « seulement » ; un temps proche indique l'autre sens de then / just就jiù.

: ten million千万qiān wàn别忘了bié wàng leband带dàipassport护照hù zhào。 Une petite quantité à proximité signifie « seulement » ; une indication temporelle à proximité renvoie à l'autre sens de then / just就jiù.

Essayez-le. Un ami vous avertit avant un voyage. Trois des modèles ci-dessus s'adaptent naturellement — ten million千万qiān wànwant / will / need要yàoto be careful小心xiǎo xīn,fear恐怕kǒng pàcan / will会huìto rain下雨xià yǔ,or / still还是hái shìband带dài(把: marks the object)把bǎdamask silk伞sǎn(suggestion)吧ba. Poser des questions difficiles : finally到底dào dǐ, to go to the bottom of a…究竟jiū jìng, don't tell me ...难道nán dào

finally到底dào dǐ fouille la vraie réponse. Dans une question, il insiste — "au diable" : you你nǐfinally到底dào dǐwant / think / miss想xiǎngvariant of 说说shuō what什么shén me?

to go to the bottom of a…究竟jiū jìng est comme finally到底dào dǐ en tenue de ville — le même sens d'« exactement, au diable », dans un registre plus écrit et formel : we / us我们wǒ mento go to the bottom of a…究竟jiū jìng还要hái yàoto wait for等děng(of time) how long?多久duō jiǔ?

(yes/no ?)吗ma: don't tell me ...难道nán dàoyou你nǐreally真的zhēn deto be convinced (that sth…相信xiāng xìnhe / him他tā(yes/no ?)吗ma?

Nécessité et conseils : to have no other option but…只好zhǐ hǎo, have no choice or option…不得不bù dé bù, best最好zuì hǎo, or / still还是hái shì…(suggestion)吧ba

we / us我们wǒ menhave no choice or option… Ne comptez pas mal les négations : have no choice or option…不得不bù dé bùto go去qù signifie « devoir aller aller", pas "ne peut pas aller". to have to必须bì xū is the calmer, neutral "must".

best最好zuì hǎo donne un conseil doux — « il vaudrait mieux » : outside (also pr. for this…外面wài miàncold冷lěng,best最好zuì hǎomany多duōto wear穿chuānpoint点diǎn。 Négatif : best最好zuì hǎodon't别bié. Pour une obligation, utilisez (degree marker)得de / to have to必须bì xū à la place.

or / still还是hái shì + verbe +(suggestion)吧ba indique le choix que vous préférez après avoir pesé les options — « il valait mieux, après tout » : or / still还是hái shìtomorrow明天míng tiānto go去qù(suggestion)吧ba。

Séquence et portée : early先xiān…again / then再zài…, one / a一yī + measure word + one / a一yī + measure word, always从来cóng láiall / both都dōu, also也yěall / both都dōu, just (in time)正好zhèng hǎo

early先xiān … ,again / then再zài … aligne les actions séquentiellement — « d'abord … puis … ». Dans ce cadre, again / then再zài signifie « (et) ensuite », pas « encore » : early先xiānto wash one's hands洗手xǐ shǒu,again / then再zàito have a meal吃饭chī fàn。 (Xiān xǐshǒu, zài chīfàn.) — Lavez-vous les mains d'abord, puis mangez. Les chaînes plus longues s'étendent avec then / after然后rán hòu / to catch and hold on接着jiē zhe.

one / a一yī + measure word + one / a一yī + measure word signifie « un ___ à la fois » : 一个yí gè一个yí gè un par un, 一步yī bù一步yī bù pas à pas, 一天yī tiān一天yī tiān jour après jour. 别吵bié chǎo,一个yí gè一个yí gèvariant of 说说shuō。

always从来cóng lái + all / both都dōu(to be / is是shì) signifie « toujours, depuis toujours », et la forme positive nécessite son all / both都dōu : always从来cóng láiall / both都dōudegree / adjective linker很hěn effort ✓, pas always从来cóng láidegree / adjective linker很hěn effort ✗. I / me我wǒnever从来不cóng lái bùto drink (alcohol)喝酒hē jiǔ。 (Wǒ cónglái bù hējiǔ.) — Je ne bois jamais d'alcool. also也yěall / both都dōu rassemble tout un groupe également — « tous … aussi » — dans un ordre fixe, jamais all / both都dōualso也yě :

see 大夫大dàpeople人们rén mento like喜欢xǐ huanthis这个zhè gedining hall餐厅cān tīng,child孩子hái zi(plural)们menalso也yěall / both都dōuto like喜欢xǐ huan。

just (in time)正好zhèng hǎo est une cible parfaite — « juste ce qu'il faut, par hasard » — jouant à la fois le rôle d'adverbe et adjectif : you你nǐto come来lái(completed / change)了le!I / me我wǒjust (in time)正好zhèng hǎowant / will / need要yàoto try to find找zhǎoyou你nǐ。

    Structure : straight挺tǐng + Adjectif + (modifier / structural particle)的de

you你nǐboyfriend男朋友nán péng yǒu挺帅tǐng shuài(modifier / structural particle)的de。 (Nǐ nánpéngyou tǐng shuài de.) — Ton petit ami est plutôt beau.

recently最近zuì jìneveryone大家dà jiāall / both都dōustraight挺tǐngbusy忙máng(modifier / structural particle)的de。

straight挺tǐng …

Dites-le : 这辆zhè liàngbicycle自行车zì xíng chēstraight挺tǐngnew新xīn(modifier / structural particle)的de。

used in 可汗可kě + Adj + (completed / change)了le vraiment, tellement ! bavard, emphatique se termine par (completed / change)了le

Ce chapitre couvre la famille du « mais » (but不过bú guò, but可是kě shì / but但是dàn shì, and / but而ér), la chaîne du « et alors » (and so于是yú shì), la ensemble de l’« autre chose » (furthermore还有hái yǒu, additional另外lìng wài, to say again再说zài shuō), et le pont moyen-vers-but to use / with用yòng/to pass through通过tōng guò … to come来lái + verbe.

La famille du « mais » : but不过bú guò, but可是kě shì / but但是dàn shì, and / but而ér

这件zhè jiànclothes衣服yī fúI / me我wǒdegree / adjective linker很hěnto like喜欢xǐ huan, but不过bú guòa little有点yǒu diǎnexpensive贵guì。

but可是kě shì / but但是dàn shì sont les « mais » classiques : but但是dàn shì est légèrement plus formel et emphatique, but可是kě shì un peu plus doux.

I / me我wǒto like喜欢xǐ huanhe / him他tā,but可是kě shìhe / him他tānot不bùto like喜欢xǐ huanI / me我wǒ。 (Wǒ xǐhuan tā, kěshì tā bù xǐhuan wǒ.) — Je l'aime, mais il ne m'aime pas.

and / but而ér relie des idées contrastées dans deux structures courantes : no不是bú shì A rather而是ér shì B (« pas A mais plutôt B ») et to be / is是shì A and / but而érno不是bú shì B (« A, pas B »).

to regret后悔hòu huǐ(modifier / structural particle)的deperson人rénno不是bú shìyou你nǐ,rather而是ér shìI / me我wǒoneself自己zì jǐ。

Try it. Adoucir un compliment sur un bel hôtel avec une petite réserve : 这家zhè jiāwine shop酒店jiǔ diànstraight挺tǐnggood好hǎo (modifier / structural particle)的de, but不过bú guòslightly有点儿yǒu diǎn érto distance oneself from…远yuǎn。

and so于是yú shì : « et alors » au passé

    and so于是yú shì enchaîne une cause à l'action qu'elle a déclenchée — « et alors, par conséquent ». C'est un mot de narration au passé : il s'associe à (completed / change)了le (et souvent à then / just就jiù), racontant « X est arrivé, ensuite Y a suivi ».

yesterday昨天zuó tiānsuddenly突然tū ránto rain下雨xià yǔ(completed / change)了le,and so于是yú shìwe / us我们wǒ mento cancel取消qǔ xiāo(completed / change)了lepicnic野餐yě cān。

Pour une cause → effet intemporelle et logique (« parce que X, donc Y »), utilisez so / therefore所以suǒ yǐ / therefore因此yīn cǐ ; and so于是yú shì appartient à la narration d'événements achevés, pas aux projets futurs.

Le groupe « autre chose » : furthermore还有hái yǒu, additional另外lìng wài, to say again再说zài shuō

». Il introduit une phrase neuve après un point final, comme pour commander un café : you你nǐwant / will / need要yàoto take medicine吃药chī yào。furthermore还有hái yǒu,want / will / need要yàomany多duōrest休息xiū xī。 (Nǐ yào chīyào. Háiyǒu, yào duō xiūxi.) — Vous devez prendre vos médicaments. Aussi, reposez-vous beaucoup.

additional另外lìng wài introduit un point séparé et additionnel, légèrement plus formel que furthermore还有hái yǒu, et le clause ajoutée porte généralement still / also还hái / also也yě pour l'écho : I / me我wǒnot / haven't没méi(concept of) time时间shí jiānto participate参加cān jiā。additional另外lìng wài,I / me我wǒalso也yěnot不bùtoo太tàito be interested感兴趣gǎn xìng qù。

to say again再说zài shuō ajoute une raison supplémentaire, souvent décisive, derrière une décision — « d'ailleurs, de toute façon » : 太远tài yuǎn(completed / change)了le,to say again再说zài shuōI / me我wǒalso也yěnot / haven't没méi(concept of) time时间shí jiān。

Refuser une invitation, donnez une raison suivie d'une argument final : I / me我wǒthat day那天nà tiānwant / will / need要yàoto take an exam考试kǎo shì。again / then再zài variant of 说说shuō, that那个nà gemovie电影diàn yǐngI / me我wǒalready at an earlier time早就zǎo jiù看过kàn guò(completed / change)了le。

+ verbe : moyen vers un but

Le to come来lái ici est une petite passerelle reliant un moyen à son but — « (utiliser X) pour faire Y ». La première partie est le comment, la partie avec to come来lái est le pourquoi.

很多hěn duōyoung people年轻人nián qīng rénto use / with用yòngcell phone手机shǒu jī APP to come来láipoint点diǎn(of a restaurant) to…外卖wài mài。

    Structure : Groupe , among其中qí zhōng ……

Décodez le mot : his其qí ("celui-ci") + to hit (the mark)中zhōng ("à l'intérieur") = "au sein de ce groupe". L'anglais effectue la même opération avec "of which" ou "of them", mais among其中qí zhōng est un seul mot qui introduit une proposition et renvoie en arrière. Deux structures à reconnaître :

    Deux formes à reconnaître :

    • among其中qí zhōng + superlatif : among其中qí zhōngbest最好zuì hǎo(modifier / structural particle)的de、most最zuìdifficult / hard难nán(modifier / structural particle)的de、most最zuìfamous有名yǒu míng(modifier / structural particle)的de — "le meilleur / le plus difficile / le plus célèbre d'entre eux"

    Attention

— Our class has twenty students, one of whom is American.

    …… part分fēn(of — literary)之zhī …… : bas d'abord, haut ensuite

    Structure : Dénominateur + part分fēn(of — literary)之zhī + Numérateur

— My phone's down to five percent.

? : une seule question, pas deux

Structure : Verbe de confirmation (to know知道zhī dào …) + question subordonnée + (yes/no ?)吗ma ?

you你nǐto know知道zhī dàohe / him他tāto be / is是shìwho谁shéi(yes/no ?)吗ma?

吗ma rend toute la phrase positive/négative ; le who谁shéi / where哪儿nǎr à l'intérieur n'est qu'une partie de la proposition subordonnée. Vous demandez si on sait — donc la réponse est to know知道zhī dào ou not不bùto know知道zhī dào, pas un nom ni un lieu. Le verbe principal est un verbe de connaissance ou d'énoncé : to know知道zhī dào, to understand了解liǎo jiě, clear明白míng bái, to know认识rèn shí, variant of 说说shuō(experienced)过guo.

Il accompagne souvent can / will会huì ou definitely一定yí dìngcan / will会huì, scellant ainsi une promesse ou une prédiction confiante : definitely一定yí dìngcan / will会huìsuccess成功chéng gōng(modifier / structural particle)的de — « tu réussiras ».

One pattern owns this topic: variant of 并并bìng + not不bù / not / haven't没méi, the pushing-back negative — "actually not, contrary to what you'd think". It corrects an assumption, which makes it the go-to for disagreeing politely but firmly.

The rule that gets tested: variant of 并并bìng only attaches to not不bù or not / haven't没méi (variant of 并并bìngnot不bù, variant of 并并bìngnot / haven't没méi), never to a bare verb on its own.

    Ce que ce sujet enseigne

Onze structures de verbe-phrase : variant of 并并bìng / moreover并且bìng qiě pour joindre des actions, young少shǎo / many多duō + verbe pour donner des conseils, to follow由yóu pour assigner la responsabilité, to do harm to害hài(degree marker)得de pour blâmer, never从来不cóng lái bù / always从来cóng láinot / haven't没méi…(experienced)过guo pour les deux "jamais", to be worth值得zhí de pour "valoir la peine de faire", verbe + to / arrive到dào + temps pour "jusqu'à", les mots séparable-séparables (clutch (in car gearbox)离合lí héword词cí), et V (ongoing -ing)着zhe V (ongoing -ing)着zhe then / just就jiù … pour la surprise qui s'installe en plein milieu d'une action.

variant of 并并bìng et moreover并且bìng qiě : joindre des actions

I / me我wǒto agree同意tóng yìvariant of 并并bìngto be in favor of支持zhī chíyou你nǐ(modifier / structural particle)的deto decide (to do something)决定jué dìng。

moreover并且bìng qiě en est l'intensification : seul, il signifie "et" ; avec also也yě / still / also还hái, il signifie "en plus, en outre". top of that".

Attention : tea茶chávariant of 并并bìngcoffee (loanword)咖啡kā fēi ✗ — variant of 并并bìng ne relie jamais des noms ; et l'escalade moreover并且bìng qiě…also也yě/still / also还hái ne peut pas se réduire à un simple variant of 并并bìng.

young少shǎo / many多duō + verbe : la paire de conseils

Attention : jamais 喝少水hē shǎo shuǐ — le mot-quantité précède : young少shǎo喝水hē shuǐ (shǎo hē shuǐ), many多duōto have a meal吃饭chī fàn (duō chī fàn). La paire est la base des conseils et des réprimandes douces : young少shǎoto stay up late or all night熬夜áo yè (shǎo áoyè) "ne reste pas éveillé tard", 多喝水duō hē shuǐ "bois plus d'eau".

to follow由yóu et to do harm to害hài(degree marker)得de : attribuer la responsabilité et blâmer

Attention : to follow由yóu attribue la responsabilité ; ce n'est pas le passif (passive: by)被bèi ("subi par").

to do harm to害hài(degree marker)得de impute la faute à quelque chose pour une mauvaise issue — il y a toujours une nuance de plainte, et la cause précède.

Attention : to do harm to害hài(degree marker)得de s'utilise uniquement pour des résultats négatifs ; pour un « faire / causer » neutre, utilisez to let / make让ràng / to make使shǐ.

never从来不cóng lái bù = « ne jamais (en règle générale, par habitude) » ; always从来cóng láinot / haven't没méi(to have / there is有yǒu) + Verbe + (experienced)过guo = « n'avoir jamais (fait dans son expérience).

À l'oral, les deux se raccourcissent : never从不cóng bù / never (in the past)从没cóng méi.

to be worth值得zhí de et verb动词dòng cí + to / arrive到dào + (concept of) time时间shí jiān

to be worth值得zhí de + Verbe indique qu'une action vaut la peine d'être faite : Cette idée mérite d'être considérée. (Zhège xiǎngfǎ zhídé kǎolǜ.) — Cette idée mérite d'être considérée. À ne pas confondre avec l'argent : to be worth值得zhí de concerne si faire quelque chose en vaut la peine ; pour la valeur monétaire, utilisez simplement value值zhí — Cela vaut cent yuans (zhège zhí yìbǎi kuài). Verbe + to / arrive到dào + Temps fonctionne comme « jusqu'à », souvent accompagné de all along一直yì zhí pour souligner la continuité.

we / us我们wǒ menat / in在zàibar酒吧jiǔ bāall along一直yì zhí聊到liáo dàomidnight半夜bàn yè。

De nombreux « verbes » sont en réalité des paires verbe + objet : to meet见面jiàn miàn (voir-face), to go to bed睡觉shuì jiào (dormir-sommeil), to help帮忙bāng máng (faire-faveur), to marry结婚jié hūn (lier-mariage).

    Attention : c'est l'erreur classique — I / me我wǒwant / think / miss想xiǎngto meet见面jiàn miànyou你nǐ ✗ → I / me我wǒwant / think / miss想xiǎngwith / and跟gēnyou你nǐto meet见面jiàn miàn ✓.

    V (ongoing -ing)着zhe V (ongoing -ing)着zhe then / just就jiù … : la surprise progressive

    Dupliquez Verbe + (ongoing -ing)着zhe pour maintenir une action en cours ; then / just就jiù + (completed / change)了le marque l'événement qui survient subitement pendant celle-ci — « tant qu'on continuait à… avant de réaliser que… ».

Les deux verbes avec (ongoing -ing)着zhe décrivent la même action continue ; then / just就jiù introduit la nouvelle situation qui émerge de celle-ci.

Les énoncés avec "Mais" au HSK 4 se présentent sous trois formes : despite尽管jǐn guǎn … but但是dàn shì … concède puis annule, to invert倒dào signale une surprise agréable, et but却què marque le revirement décevant à l'intérieur de la phrase. Choisir entre to invert倒dào et but却què relève du ressenti : le côté positif ou la déception.

Bien que soit légèrement plus fort et plus formel que although虽然suī rán — plus proche de "despite, even though" — et la deuxième clause préfère un or / still还是hái shì ou un but但是dàn shì.

Attention : ne pas confondre ce despite尽管jǐn guǎn avec l'autre despite尽管jǐn guǎn = "va-yo, n'hésite pas" (to have / there is有yǒuquestion问题wèn tí despite尽管jǐn guǎnto ask问wèn (yǒu wèntí jinguǎn wèn) — "demande sans crainte").

to invert倒dào signale un tournement inattendu — "en fait, au contraire, si on peut dire", généralement une positive ou inattendue, souvent associée à also也yě ou again又yòu.

Attention : ce to invert倒dào se lit dào ("en fait") ; le to invert倒dào qui signifie "tomber" se lit dǎo — même caractère, mot différent.

Répondez que vous ferez tout de même l'effort : even if即使jí shǐticket票piàoto be sold out卖完mài wán(completed / change)了le,we / us我们wǒ menalso也yěcan / may可以kě yǐ问问wèn wèn(before a noun) Do (you…有没有yǒu méi yǒuto bounce (a check)退票tuì piào。

even if即使jí shǐ vs although虽然suī rán : supposition ou fait

Modèle La première proposition est… Seconde proposition
even if即使jí shǐ … also也yě … une supposition (même si) also也yě — "toujours / quand même"

    Faites attention

    • Les cousins proches arrivent à HSK 5 : (coll.) even if就算jiù suàn … also也yě et even哪怕nǎ pà … also也yě, tous deux signifiant « même si », un peu plus colloquial. À HSK 4, even if即使jí shǐ … also也yě … est la structure à maîtriser.
    • Le also也yě accompagne la structure. Une phrase correcte avec even if即使jí shǐ mais sans also也yě trahit une maîtrise incomplète de la structure.

Une supposition : even if即使jí shǐtomorrow明天míng tiān to rain下雨xià yǔ,we / us我们wǒ menalso也yěto go去qù。 (Jíshǐ míngtiān xiàyǔ, wǒmen yě qù.) 4. Vrai — la clause est évoquée, pas affirmée ; even if即使jí shǐyou你nǐdegree / adjective linker很hěnwell-off有钱yǒu qián,also也yě买不到mǎi bú dàohappiness幸福xìng fú évoque un « vous » riche qui peut ne pas exister.)

    Ce que ce sujet enseigne

Une seule structure domine ce sujet : if要是yào shi … then / just就jiù …, le « si … alors … » courant dans la parole quotidienne. Comme son jumeau if如果rú guǒ … then / just就jiù …, le then / just就jiù introduit la clause du résultat — et se souvenir du then / just就jiù est exactement ce que l'examen vérifie.

    Si … alors … : if … then …

Structure : Si + Condition, alors + Résultat

Si tu me manques vraiment, alors téléphone-moi. (Nǐ yàoshi zhēn de xiǎng wǒ, jiù gěi wǒ dǎ diànhuà.) — Si tu me manques vraiment, alors téléphone-moi.

if要是yào shi est le if familier et parlé — même sens que if如果rú guǒ, mais plus oral, particulièrement courant dans le nord de la Chine. Les deux déclenchent then / just就jiù dans la clause de résultat : la condition précède, et then / just就jiù marque la conséquence.

Deux variantes supplémentaires à retenir :

    • if it were not for要不是yào bú shì … = « si ce n'était pour … » : if it were not for要不是yào bú shìtraffic jam堵车dǔ chē,I / me我wǒalready at an earlier time早就zǎo jiùto / arrive到dào(completed / change)了le (Yàobushi dǔchē, wǒ zǎo jiù dào le.)
    • Après le sujet, if要是yào shi peut se réduire à want / will / need要yào : you你nǐwant / will / need要yàonot不bùto come来lái,we / us我们wǒ menthen / just就jiùto start开始kāi shǐ(completed / change)了le (Nǐ yào bù lái, wǒmen jiù kāishǐ le.)

Organisez un pique-nique avec une condition météorologique : if要是yào shiSaturday周六zhōu liùweather天气tiān qìgood好hǎo,we / us我们wǒ menthen / just就jiùat / in在zàipark (for public recreation)公园gōng yuánpicnic野餐yě cān。

Familier, oral, nord alors (then / just就jiù)
    Si … alors … « si » neutre alors
Même si … toujours … même si — une supposition contredite toujours

Les trois structures se classent selon le ton. if如果rú guǒ est le « si » neutre ; if要是yào shi en est la variante familière; Même si (Sujet 16) accorde une supposition qui est ensuite contredite par also也yě.

    Attention

    • « Alors » fait partie de la structure. La phrase if要是yào shitomorrow明天míng tiān不下雨bù xià yǔ,we / us我们wǒ mento go去qùto climb a mountain爬山pá shān reste inachevée sans dans celle-ci.
    • if要是yào shi introduit une condition à laquelle on attend, et non un fait avéré — pour opposer un fait réel, la structure although虽然suī rán …but但是dàn shì… (Sujet 15) sert de cadre.

La différence réside dans le registre : l'usage oral utilise not to be concerned不管bù guǎn, l'écrit utilise no matter what or how无论wú lùn.

Trois mots liant cause à effet : due to由于yóu yú introduit une cause formelle, since既然jì rán … then / just就jiù … déduit vers l'avant à partir d'un fait accepté, et therefore因此yīn cǐ présente la conséquence. Les choix testés sont le couple (due to由于yóu yú tend vers therefore因此yīn cǐ) et la distinction entre fait/supposition entre since既然jì rán et if如果rú guǒ.

due to由于yóu yú : le « dû à » formel

    Structure : due to由于yóu yú + Cause,(therefore因此yīn cǐ / so / therefore所以suǒ yǐ) ……

due to由于yóu yú est le pourquoi formel — il introduit la cause et aime passer le relais à therefore因此yīn cǐ pour la Résultat. Piège d'association : because因为yīn wèi s'associe à so / therefore所以suǒ yǐ, mais due to由于yóu yú penche vers therefore因此yīn cǐ.

Annoncez un report dans un avis : due to由于yóu yúequipment设备shè bèimaintenance (of equipment)维修wéi xiū,competition (sports etc)比赛bǐ sàito postpone推迟tuī chíto / arrive到dàonext week下周xià zhōu。

since既然jì rán … then / just就jiù … : puisque — se fonder sur un fait établi

Structure : since既然jì rán + (fait établi), (that那nà) then / just就jiù + Suggestion / Inférence

since既然jì rányou你nǐlike that那么nà meto like喜欢xǐ huan, that那nàthen / just就jiùto buy买mǎi(suggestion)吧ba。

Le résultat est une suggestion ou une inférence, généralement introduite par that那nà / that那nàthen / just就jiù / then / just就jiù.

Contraste avec if如果rú guǒ / if要是yào shi, qui reposent sur une hypothèse. Fait → since既然jì rán ; hypothèse → if如果rú guǒ.

therefore因此yīn cǐ : donc / par conséquent

Structure : Cause, therefore因此yīn cǐ + Conséquence

therefore因此yīn cǐ signifie « par conséquent » (cause因yīn « parce que » + this此cǐ « ceci ») et introduit l'effet. Il est le cousin formel de so / therefore所以suǒ yǐ, s'associant naturellement à une cause marquée par due to由于yóu yú / because因为yīn wèi.

Attention : therefore因此yīn cǐ introduit la clause de résultat — la cause vient en premier, puis therefore因此yīn cǐ + effet.

    La chaîne assemblée

    Énoncés conditionnels

    Programme d'apprentissage bientôt disponible

    Fiche de cours

    Ce que ce sujet enseigne

Deux structures conditionnelles déterminent ce qui suit : if only只要zhǐ yào … then / just就jiù … signifie qu'une chose suffit suffit ("pourvu que"), et only if (..., or otherwise… L'examen teste surtout une association ci-dessus : if only只要zhǐ yào se couple avec then / just就jiù, only have ...只有zhǐ yǒu / only if (..., or otherwise…除非chú fēi se couple avec only then / not until才cái.

    if only只要zhǐ yào … then / just就jiù … : tant que — c'est suffisant

    Structure : if only只要zhǐ yào + Condition,then / just就jiù + Résultat

if only只要zhǐ yàoyou你nǐ努力学习nǔ lì xué xí,then / just就jiùcan / will会huìto have / there is有yǒuprogress进步jìn bù。

if only只要zhǐ yàoone / a一yīto rain下雨xià yǔ,she / her她tāmood心情xīn qíngthen / just就jiùno good不好bù hǎo。

Le deuxième exemple montre if only只要zhǐ yào étiré à « chaque fois que » : la pluie, et son humeur tombe, à chaque fois.

Imaginez une porte avec un locher lâche : if only只要zhǐ yào un tour de clé suffit pour l'ouvrir.

Promettez quelque chose de facile et vrai à un ami : if only只要zhǐ yàoyou你nǐvariant of 说说shuō,I / me我wǒthen / just就jiùto help帮bāngyou你nǐ。 Dites-le à haute voix — le rythme if only只要zhǐ yào…then / just就jiù porte la promesse.

only have ...只有zhǐ yǒu … only then / not until才cái … : la seule et unique voie

Structure : only have ...只有zhǐ yǒu + Condition, only then / not until才cái + Résultat

only have ...

only have ... C'est pourquoi la clause de résultat prend only then / not until才cái (« seulement alors ») : étudiez dur — seulement alors pourrez-vous bien réussir.

    Modèle Sens Mot partenaire Ressenti
if only只要zhǐ yào … then / just就jiù … « tant que » — A suffit then / just就jiù la porte est facile
only have ...只有zhǐ yǒu … only then / not until才cái … « seulement si » — A est la seule voie only then / not until才cái la porte est stricte

Attention : remplacer then / just就jiù par only then / not until才cái transforme silencieusement « tant que » en « seulement si ». if only只要zhǐ yàoyou你nǐto make an effort努力nǔ lì to learn学习xué xíthen / just就jiùcan / will会huìto have / there is有yǒuprogress进步jìn bù (encourageant) vs if only只要zhǐ yàoyou你nǐ努力学习nǔ lì xué xíonly then / not until才cáican / will会huìto have / there is有yǒuprogress进步jìn bù (donne l'impression que l'effort est) le seul chemin) — le mot partenaire fait parler l'autre.

    Sauf si … / sinon … : unless — l'exception unique

Structure : Résultat, sauf si + Condition · Sauf si + Condition, que + Résultat

Je n'irai pas, sauf si tu y vas aussi. (Wǒ bú qù, chúfēi nǐ yě qù.) — I won't go unless you go too.

— Only if the boss gives me a raise will I stay.

I won't go unless you come; otherwise I'll stay home.

— Unless it pours, we're hiking tomorrow. Dites-le avec un léger accent de résignation du only then / not until才cái dans votre voix : une condition, une exception.

to link连lián X all / both都dōu = « même X », et vous avez besoin des deux mots. L'anglais ne conserve que « even » ; le chinois structure cela avec to link连lián (l'élément surprenant) … all / both都dōu (qui l'enveloppe). L'élément mis en surbrillance passe au début : to link连liándog meat狗肉gǒu ròuall / both都dōuvariant of 吃吃chī ✓, jamais variant of 吃吃chīto link连liándog meat狗肉gǒu ròu ✗.

Attention : omettre all / both都dōu brise la structure — to link连lián a toujours besoin de son partenaire all / both都dōu / also也yě.

    Ce que ce sujet enseigne

Trois cadres pour la conversation adulte : Adj to be / is是shì Adj,but但是dàn shì … (accorder, puis nuancer), one / a一yī … then / just就jiù … (« dès que A, B ») et on the one hand一方面yì fāng miàn … on the one hand一方面yì fāng miàn …

Adjectif + to be / is是shì + Adjectif, mais … : accorder, puis nuancer

    Structure : Adjectif + to be / is是shì + (même) Adjectif,but但是dàn shì / exactly就是jiù shì ……

to work工作gōng zuòbusy忙mángto be / is是shìbusy忙máng,but但是dàn shìI / me我wǒdegree / adjective linker很hěnto feel happy开心kāi xīn。

这件zhè jiànclothes衣服yī fúgood-looking好看hǎo kànto be / is是shìgood-looking好看hǎo kàn,exactly就是jiù shìnot不bùto fit适合shì héI / me我wǒ。

    Attention : l'adjectif doit être répété exactement — good-looking好看hǎo kànto be / is是shìgood-looking好看hǎo kàn ✓, good-looking好看hǎo kànto be / is是shìpretty漂亮piào liàng ✗.

À vous. Revenez sur un téléphone que vous aviez failli acheter : this这个zhè gecell phone手机shǒu jīrapid快kuàito be / is是shìrapid快kuài,exactly就是jiù shì太贵tài guì(completed / change)了le。

    one / a一yī … then / just就jiù … : dès que A, B

    Structure : Sujet + one / a一yī + Événement 1,then / just就jiù + Événement 2

I / me我wǒ(used after a verb) give it…一下yī xiàsubject课kèthen / just就jiùto go去qùvariant of 吃吃chīlunch午饭wǔ fàn。

La construction one / a一yī A then / just就jiù B lie deux événements étroitement : B suit A immédiatement ou automatiquement, et pour un lien habituel, elle équivaut également à "chaque fois que A, B".

Exprimez une réaction automatique : I / me我wǒone / a一yīto see看到kàn dàocat猫māothen / just就jiùwant / think / miss想xiǎngvariant of 摹摸mō。

on the one hand一方面yì fāng miàn … (other另lìng)on the one hand一方面yì fāng miàn … : d'un côté … (de) l'autre …

Structure : on the one hand一方面yì fāng miàn + A,(other另lìng)on the one hand一方面yì fāng miàn + B

oneself自己zì jǐto prepare a meal做饭zuò fànon the one hand一方面yì fāng miànhealth健康jiàn kāng,on the one hand一方面yì fāng miànstill / also还háican / be able to能néngto save money省钱shěng qián。

he / him他tāon the one hand一方面yì fāng miànwant / think / miss想xiǎngto change改变gǎi biàn,on the one hand一方面yì fāng miànagain又yòuto be afraid害怕hài pàto change改变gǎi biàn。 (Tā yìfāngmiàn xiǎng gǎibiàn, yìfāngmiàn yòu hàipà gǎibiàn.) — D'un côté, il veut changer ; de l'autre, il a peur de le faire.

on the one hand一方面yì fāng miàn = « un côté » (square方fāng côté + flour面miàn face). Le second on the one hand一方面yì fāng miàn peut prendre other另lìng (on the other hand另一方面lìng yì fāng miàn) pour plus de clarté.

Essai. Évaluez un emploi à temps partiel : to work a temporary or…打工dǎ gōngon the one hand一方面yì fāng miàncan / be able to能néngto earn money赚钱zhuàn qián,on the one hand一方面yì fāng miànagain又yòudegree / adjective linker很hěnrope累lèi。

Choisissez n'importe quel premier mot — not only (... but also ...)不但bù dàn / not just不仅bù jǐn / not不bùonly只zhǐ — et n'importe quel second mot — moreover而且ér qiě / still / also还hái / also也yě — et assemblez-les. La seule vraie règle : B doit dépasser A, la seconde partie doit surpasser la première.

    Structure : Sujet + not only (... but also ...)不但bù dàn / not just不仅bù jǐn / not不bùonly只zhǐ + A,moreover而且ér qiě / still / also还hái / also也yě + B

Le bouton avant se décline en trois styles — not only (... but also ...)不但bù dàn (bùdàn), not just不仅bù jǐn (bùjǐn), not不bùonly只zhǐ (bùzhǐ) — tous signifiant « non seulement » (among其中qí zhōngnot just不仅bù jǐn / not不bùonly只zhǐ ont une tournure légèrement plus formelle). Le bouton arrière propose aussi trois options — moreover而且ér qiě (érqiě), still / also还hái (hái), also也yě (yě) — toutes signifiant « mais aussi ». Assembliez-les librement : not only (... but also ...)不但bù dàn…still / also还hái…, not just不仅bù jǐn…moreover而且ér qiě…, not不bùonly只zhǐ…also也yě….

rich person有钱人yǒu qián rénusually往往wǎng wǎngfairly / rather比较bǐ jiàosuperstition迷信mí xìn。

    • often常常cháng cháng est simplement « souvent » — un décompte de fréquence, acceptable dans n'importe quel temps, y compris le futur : I / me我wǒafter以后yǐ hòucan / will会huìoften常常cháng chángto move运动yùn dòng — « Je ferai de l'exercice souvent à partir de maintenant. »

Signale une règle observée dans ta salle de classe : 下雨天xià yǔ tiān,to study at the same school同学tóng xué(plural)们menusually往往wǎng wǎngto arrive late迟到chí dào。

    you你nǐjust now (variant of 刚才)刚才gāng cáito go去qùwhere哪儿nǎr(completed / change)了le? (Nǐ gāngcái qù nǎr le?) — Où es-tu allé tout à l'heure ?

I / me我wǒ刚回来gāng huí lái。 (Wǒ gāng huílái.) — Je viens de rentrer.

    • just now刚gāng est un adverbe, collé au verbe : 刚到gāng dào, 刚回来gāng huí lái, et il omet souvent (completed / change)了le. Devant un adjectif, seul just now刚gāng fonctionne : 天刚tiān gāngclear晴qíng — « Le ciel vient de se dégager. »
    • just now (variant of 刚才)刚才gāng cái est un nom de temps — « il y a un instant », un point dans le passé récent. En tant que nom, il peut se tenir seul (just now (variant of 刚才)刚才gāng cái(and …? / softener)呢ne? — « Et tout à l'heure ? ») et même modifier un autre nom : just now (variant of 刚才)刚才gāng cái(modifier / structural particle)的dematter事shì, « la chose d'il y a un instant ».

Le test du nom tranchera tout doute : si le mot possède un nom avec (modifier / structural particle)的de, c'est forcément just now (variant of 刚才)刚才gāng cái.

    Fais attention : just now (variant of 刚才)刚才gāng cái(modifier / structural particle)的dematter事shì ✓, just now刚gāng(modifier / structural particle)的dematter事shì ✗ — les adverbes ne peuvent pas prendre (modifier / structural particle)的de.

Deux paires de prépositions traduisant la même chose mais pointant différemment : pertaining to关于guān yú vs to / towards / correct对duì (of time or place) in于yú (deux « à propos de » — sujet vs cible) et away from离lí vs from从cóng (deux « de » — écart vs départ). Un La question tranchera chaque paire.

pertaining to关于guān yú vs regarding对于duì yú : le sujet vs la cible

pertaining to关于guān yúthis这个zhè gequestion问题wèn tí,everyone大家dà jiāto have / there is有yǒuwhat什么shén meway of looking at a thing看法kàn fǎ?

regarding对于duì yúwe / us我们wǒ men(modifier / structural particle)的deto work工作gōng zuò,boss老板lǎo bǎndegree / adjective linker很hěnsatisfied满意mǎn yì。

Ainsi, regarding对于duì yúwe / us我们wǒ men(modifier / structural particle)的deto work工作gōng zuò,boss老板lǎo bǎndegree / adjective linker很hěnsatisfied满意mǎn yì doit être regarding对于duì yú — la satisfaction du patron est dirigée vers le travail. Et un titre comme pertaining to关于guān yúenvironmental protection环保huán bǎo(modifier / structural particle)的deto inform报告bào gào ("un rapport sur l'environnement") utilise pertaining to关于guān yú — rien n'y est ressenti, le sujet est simplement nommé.

Annoncez une discussion : pertaining to关于guān yúweekend周末zhōu mò(modifier / structural particle)的deplan计划jì huà,everyone大家dà jiāto have / there is有yǒuwhat什么shén meway of thinking想法xiǎng fǎ?(Guānyú zhōumò de jìhuà, dàjiā yǒu shénme xiǎngfǎ?) — Concernant le plan du week-end, des idées ?

away from离lí vs from从cóng : l'écart vs le point de départ

    • away from离lí (lí) mesure l'écart entre deux points — « à » / « loin de » — et s'associe avec to distance oneself from…远yuǎn (loin) / near近jìn: away from离lícompany公司gōng sī很近hěn jìn, away from离lícity center市中心shì zhōng xīndegree / adjective linker很hěnto distance oneself from…远yuǎn.

Mot de distance à proximité → away from离lí ; un début à proximité → from从cóng.

Essayez-le. 4. Lequel de away from离lí / from从cóng peut introduire une phrase temporelle comme from从cóngnext week下周xià zhōuto rise起qǐ ?

3. away from离lí (écart + near近jìn), puis from从cóng (le point de départ du trajet). 4. from从cóng — indique le début ; away from离lí ne fait que mesurer des écarts.)

Astuce mnémotechnique : to fit适shìvariant of 合合hé finit par variant of 合合hé comme un verbe prenant une chose ; variant of 合合héto fit适shì finit par to fit适shì comme dans cozy舒适shū shì (confortable) — un mot qualitatif.
