Pour commencer par une comparaison, ouvrez avec with / and跟 A than / compared to比((after a verb) indicating…起来), puis commentez B — « par rapport à A, B est …. » Cela pose d'abord l'étalon de mesure, puis fait le point. (with / and跟 ≈ and / with和 ici ; with / and跟 est légèrement plus courant.) B peut aussi commencer la phrase.
Structure : 跟 + A + 比(起来) ,B + Comment
compared with跟Shanghai上海比my,我hometown老家的prices物价very很low低。
Par rapport à Shanghai, les prix dans ma ville natale sont très bas.
the younger sister妹妹compared with跟the elder姐姐比起来a bit有点shy害羞。
Par rapport à sa sœur aînée, la cadette est un peu timide.
Rappelez-vous : with / and跟 A than / compared to比 = « le comparer à A… » — l'étalon d'abord, le verdict ensuite. Notez que contrairement à une phrase than / compared to比 nue, cette structure autorise degree / adjective linker很 ((commodity) prices物价degree / adjective linker很low低), car c'est un commentaire, pas un direct A-than / compared to比-B.
Faites attention
- Pour un simple « A est plus X que B », le than / compared to比 de base suffit : Athan / compared to比Bhigh高.
