The whole lot

• all全quán means "whole / entire / all of".
• Stick it before a noun: whole family全家quán jiā (the whole family), worldwide全世界quán shì jiè (the whole world).
• One syllable that sweeps in everything.

all全quán + Noun

• all全quán + Noun = "the whole / all the …".

the whole family全家quán jiāall都dōucome来lái了le。

• whole family全家quán jiāall / both都dōuto come来lái(completed / change)了le = "the whole family came."

Common combos

• the whole class全班quán bān (whole class), whole nation全国quán guó (whole country), the whole body全身quán shēn (whole body), whole day全天quán tiān (all day).
