팁

This course follows an electrical engineering degree. It begins with DC circuit analysis: Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's laws, nodal and mesh analysis, and the Thévenin and Norton theorems. From there it moves to the mathematics of signals, digital logic, AC circuits and phasors, electronics, signals and systems, electromagnetics, embedded systems, machines and power, control, communications and digital signal processing.

The first part is the foundation for everything else. Practise drawing the circuit, labelling every current direction and node voltage before writing an equation, and checking units at the end. Most wrong answers come from a sign set up badly at the start, not from hard algebra.

Later parts use more mathematics: complex numbers for AC, differential equations for circuits that change in time, and Laplace and Fourier transforms for signals. Learn each tool where it is first needed, and use it on a real circuit straight away.
