Patrones de Comparación

  • 18 Patrones de Comparación
    18.1

    跟 … 比(起来) — "compared with"

Para comenzar con una comparación, abre con with / and跟gēn A than / compared to比bǐ((after a verb) indicating…起来qǐ lái), luego comenta sobre B — "en comparación con A, B es…". Establece la referencia primero y luego formula el punto. (with / and跟gēn ≈ and / with和hé aquí; with / and跟gēn es ligeramente más común). B también puede iniciar la oración.

    Estructura: 跟 + A + 比(起来) ,B + Comment

    compared with跟gēnShanghai上海Shàng hǎi比bǐmy,我wǒhometown老家lǎo jiā的deprices物价wù jiàvery很hěnlow低dī。

En comparación con Shanghái, los precios en mi ciudad natal son muy bajos.

the younger sister妹妹mèi meicompared with跟gēnthe elder姐姐jiě jie比起来bǐ qǐ láia bit有点yǒu diǎnshy害羞hài xiū。

En comparación con su hermana mayor, la menor es un poco tímida.

Recuerda: with / and跟gēn A than / compared to比bǐ = "contrastándolo con A…" — primero la referencia, luego el veredicto. Ten en cuenta que, a diferencia de una oración simple con than / compared to比bǐ, este marco permite degree / adjective linker很hěn ((commodity) prices物价wù jiàdegree / adjective linker很hěnlow低dī), porque se trata de un comentario y no de una comparación directa A-than / compared to比bǐ-B.

    Precaución

    • Para una simple "A es más X que B", basta con el than / compared to比bǐ básico: Athan / compared to比bǐBhigh高gāo.
    18.2

    比 … 更 / 还 — "incluso más"

En una comparación con than / compared to比bǐ, coloca more更gèng o still / also还hái antes del adjetivo para indicar que la primera cosa lo es incluso más — a menudo con una sutil sugerencia de que "(B ya es muy…, y A le gana)".

    Estructura: Noun 1 + 比 + Noun 2 + 更 / 还 + Adjective

    Shanghai上海Shàng hǎithan比bǐNew York纽约Niǔ yuēpopulation人口rén kǒueven更gèngbigger多duō。

La población de Shanghái es incluso mayor que la de Nueva York.

    he他tāthan比bǐYao Ming姚明Yáo Míngeven还háitaller高gāo。

Él es incluso más alto que Yao Ming.

Recuerda: more更gèng / still / also还hái = "incluso más." still / also还hái introduce especialmente la idea de "(y el otro ya es altísimo)": than / compared to比bǐYao Ming (1980-), retired…姚明yáo míngstill / also还háihigh高gāo admite tácitamente que Yao Ming ya es un gigante. Regla crucial: una oración con than / compared to比bǐ nunca lleva degree / adjective linker很hěn / very非常fēi cháng — el grado proviene de more更gèng / still / also还hái / many多duō(completed / change)了le.

    Precaución

    • than / compared to比bǐ + degree / adjective linker很hěn es un error clásico: di than / compared to比bǐhe / him他tāhigh高gāo o than / compared to比bǐhe / him他tāmore更gènghigh高gāo, nunca than / compared to比bǐhe / him他tādegree / adjective linker很hěnhigh高gāo.
    18.3

    比 … 形容词 + 多了 — "mucho más"

Para enfatizar una gran diferencia, cierra una comparación con than / compared to比bǐ usando many多duō(completed / change)了le (o (degree marker)得demany多duō / 很多hěn duō) — "mucho más…". many多duō(completed / change)了le también funciona solo: many好多hǎo duō(completed / change)了le ("mucho mejor").

    Estructura: Noun 1 + 比 + Noun 2 + Adjective + 多了 / 得多 / 很多

    pinyin拼音pīn yīnthan比bǐcharacters汉字Hàn zìeasy容易róng yìmuch多了duō le。

El pinyin es mucho más fácil que los caracteres.

taking坐zuòthe bullet train高铁gāo tiěthan比bǐtaking坐zuòthe plane飞机fēi jīconvenient方便fāng biànmuch more得多de duō。

El tren bala es mucho más cómodo que volar.

Recuerda: evalúa la magnitud al final: gran diferencia → many多duō(completed / change)了le / (degree marker)得demany多duō / 很多hěn duō; pequeña diferencia → a bit一点yì diǎn (easy容易róng yìa bit一点yì diǎn, "un poco más fácil"). Y, nuevamente, nunca uses degree / adjective linker很hěn / very非常fēi cháng dentro de una oración con than / compared to比bǐ.

    Precaución

    • many多duō(completed / change)了le / (degree marker)得demany多duō / 很多hěn duō van siempre después del adjetivo: 高多gāo duō(completed / change)了le, 高得gāo démany多duō — nunca many多duō(completed / change)了lehigh高gāo.
    18.4

    A + 有 + B + 形容词 + 吗? — "¿tan…como?"

to have / there is有yǒu hace más que "tener": en una comparación significa "tan…como": "A to have / there is有yǒu B + Adj" = "A es tan [Adj] como B." Se usa principalmente en preguntas, donde B es la referencia contra la cual mides, a menudo acompañada de so much这么zhè me / like that那么nà me.

    Estructura: A + 有 + B + (这么 / 那么) + Adjective + 吗?

    he他tāas有yǒume我wǒhandsome帅shuài吗ma?

¿Es él tan guapo como yo?

    he他tāas有yǒuYao Ming姚明Yáo Míngthat那么nà metall高gāo吗ma?

¿Es realmente tan alto como Yao Ming?

Recuerda: to have / there is有yǒu = "alcanza tanto como" (tan…como); not have / haven't没有méi yǒu = "no llega a" (no tan…como). La pregunta to have / there is有yǒu…(yes/no ?)吗ma? indaga "¿A cumple con el estándar de B?"; la respuesta es to have / there is有yǒu / not have / haven't没有méi yǒu (not have / haven't没有méi yǒu你帅nǐ shuài, "no es tan guapo como tú").

    Precaución

    • Se usa principalmente en preguntas y negaciones, no en afirmaciones simples. Para una afirmación simple, usa with / and跟gēn…same一样yī yàng ("tan…como") o than / compared to比bǐ ("más que").
