文本转录
Wellbeing and free time. Bu shufu says you don't feel well, and ni xiang zuo shenme asks what you want to do. And Chinese has two can words, hui for a skill learned through practice and neng for what the situation allows, a split English hides. One caution travels with this topic: it is role-play comfort, not medical advice.
The checked dialogue runs the whole exchange. Ni zenme le, what's wrong. Wo bu shufu, xiang xiuxi, I don't feel well, I want to rest. Hao, duo xiuxi, OK, rest more. These are language expressions for class role-play, not medical conclusions, and duo xiuxi is a friend's comfort, not a doctor's advice. The dialogue is practice in empathy, in Chinese.
Two cans, two questions, one swim. Hui asks about the skill, learned through practice: ni hui youyong ma, can you swim, do you know how. Neng asks about today: ni jintian neng youyong ma, can you swim today, is it possible now. The same person can answer no to both for different reasons, never learned it, or no time today. Same swim, different question, and English hides the split while Chinese keeps it.
Wants and likes run on two verbs. Xiang plus a verb hunts a wish: ni xiang zuo shenme, what do you want to do. Xihuan plus a verb states a taste: wo xihuan kanshu, I like reading. Xiang xiuxi, want to rest, comes straight from the wellbeing dialogue, tying the two halves of the topic together. Ask a partner both swimming questions and answer honestly, one about your skills and one about your afternoon.
The watch-out keeps the wellbeing role-play in its lane: a language exercise about symptoms does not diagnose an illness or recommend treatment, and duo xiuxi is classroom comfort, the friend's line in a dialogue, not medical advice. Practise the empathy, skip the prescription.
Pause and check both. First, hui asks about the learned skill, the swimming you practised. Second, no, duo xiuxi is classroom comfort in a role-play, not medical advice, and a language exercise about symptoms never diagnoses anything. The remaining review items: bu shufu says you don't feel well, and ni jintian neng youyong ma asks about today's possibility. Two cans, two wishes, one comfortable conversation.
