文本转录
Travel in one sentence: wo mingtian ba dian zuo huoche qu Shanghai, tomorrow at eight I take the train to Shanghai. Four facts ride in it: tomorrow is the date, eight is the departure hour, train is the mode, and Shanghai is the destination. This topic teaches you to build that sentence and to answer the three questions every ticket answers.
The same place word changes meaning with the preposition. Qu plus a destination means going there: wo mingtian qu Shanghai, I'm going to Shanghai tomorrow. Zai plus a place means being there: wo zai Shanghai, I'm in Shanghai. A place word after zai describes current location; after qu it can describe the goal of travel. Same city, different preposition, different meaning, and the preposition is what decides.
The vehicle verb is zuo: zuo gongjiaoche, take the bus; zuo huoche, take the train. Walking is its own word, zoulou or buxing, on foot. Time usually precedes the action, which is how one sentence carries four facts: wo mingtian ba dian zuo huoche qu Shanghai, tomorrow at eight I take the train to Shanghai. Build one real trip of yours in the same order, time, mode, destination, and say it aloud.
Every ticket answers three questions. Qu nali, where to, wants the destination, and the wrong answer is the vehicle, zuo huoche. Zenme qu, how to go, wants the mode, and the wrong answer is the city. Ji dian zou, what time do you leave, wants the departure hour. And a printed number can be a seat, a platform or a time, so read the label, not just the digits. Matching the answer to the question's unit is the whole skill.
The watch-out is the preposition rule: a place word after zai describes current location, while after qu it can describe the goal of travel, so the preposition decides the meaning, not the place word. And on a real ticket, a printed number can be a seat, a platform or a time, so read the label around the digits.
Pause and check both. First, zuo is the vehicle verb, zuo huoche, take the train. Second, qu nali asks the destination, and the wrong answer is the vehicle. The remaining review items: ba in the travel sentence gives the departure hour, and zai Shanghai is being there while qu Shanghai is going there. You can now announce a trip and read a ticket.
