รูปแบบพื้นฐาน

• ประธาน + กริยาต้นแบบ: I work, you play, we live, they study.
• ไม่มีอะไรเพิ่มเติม — ไม่ต้องใช้ am / is / are และไม่ใช้ -ing
• They live in Shanghai.

He / she / it → เติม -s

• กับ he, she, it กริยาจะเติม -s: She works. He likes tea.
• การสะกดคำ: watch → watches, study → studies, go → goes.
• have เป็นพิเศษ: he / she / it → has

การพูดว่า "ไม่": don't / doesn't

• I / you / we / they → don't + กริยาต้นแบบ
• he / she / it → doesn't + กริยาต้นแบบ
• I don't eat meat. She doesn't like coffee.
• หลัง don't / doesn't กริยาลดรูป -s ออก

การถามคำถาม: Do / Does …?

• Do you …? · Does he …?
• Do you speak English? Does she work here?
• คำตอบสั้น: Yes, I do. / No, he doesn't.

ข้อผิดพลาดทั่วไป

• ❌ She don't like coffee. → ✓ She doesn't like coffee.
• ❌ Does he has a car? → ✓ Does he have a car? — หลัง does กลับไปใช้กริยาต้นแบบ
• ❌ Everyone know the answer. → ✓ Everyone knows the answer. — everyone เป็นเอกพจน์
