all / both都dōu isn't only "all"

• You know all / both都dōu = "all". It has a second life: "already / even".
• all / both都dōu十二点shí èr diǎn(completed / change)了le！ = "it's already twelve o'clock!"
• This all / both都dōu adds impatience or surprise.

all / both都dōu + … + (completed / change)了le = "already"

• With (completed / change)了le, all / both都dōu stresses that a point has already been reached.

already都dōutwelve十二点shí èr diǎn了le！

• all / both都dōu十二点shí èr diǎn(completed / change)了le = "it's already twelve — so late!"
