比 … 更 / 还 (even more than)
Even taller than the tall one
- Basic than / compared to比: he / him他than / compared to比I / me我high高 (he's taller than me).
- Add more更 or still / also还: he / him他than / compared to比I / me我more更high高 = "he's even taller than me".
- It hints we're both tall — he just tops it.
N1 + than / compared to比 + N2 + more更 / still / also还 + Adj
- more更 / still / also还 sits right before the adjective to mean "even more".
he他than比me我even more更tall高。
- he / him他than / compared to比I / me我more更high高 = "he's even taller than me."
