没(有) comparisons (not as … as)
"Not as tall as you"
- than / compared to比 says "more than". Its negative isn't unlike不比 — it's not have / haven't没有.
- I / me我not have / haven't没有he / him他high高 = "I'm not as tall as he is."
- not / haven't没(to have / there is有) here means "doesn't reach" that level.
Noun 1 + not / haven't没(to have / there is有) + Noun 2 + Adj
- N1 falls short of N2 on that quality.
I我not as没有him他tall高。
- I / me我not have / haven't没有he / him他high高 = "I'm not as tall as him."
