没(有) comparisons (not as … as)

"Not as tall as you"

  • than / compared to says "more than". Its negative isn't unlike不比 — it's not have / haven't没有méi yǒu.
  • I / menot have / haven't没有méi yǒuhe / himhighgāo = "I'm not as tall as he is."
  • not / haven'tméi(to have / there isyǒu) here means "doesn't reach" that level.
