not to be concerned不管bù guǎn + open question, all / both都dōu / also也yě + result

    • not to be concerned不管bù guǎn + question word / A-not-A / or / still还是hái shì, then all / both都dōu or also也yě: the result stays the same in every case.
    • not to be concerned不管bù guǎn must be followed by an open choice: not to be concerned不管bù guǎnwho谁shéi, not to be concerned不管bù guǎn多忙duō máng, not to be concerned不管bù guǎn去不去qù bù qù.

no matter不管bù guǎnhow多duōbusy忙máng,he他tāalways都dōuto给gěiMum妈妈mā macalls打电话dǎ diàn huà。

    不管 …,都 …: no matter

Three ways to open the choice

    • Put all / both都dōu / also也yě after the subject of the result: I / me我wǒall / both都dōuto go去qù, not all / both都dōuI / me我wǒto go去qù.

not to be concerned不管bù guǎn versus although虽然suī rán

    • although虽然suī rán + one fact: although虽然suī ránto rain下雨xià yǔ,I / me我wǒor / still还是hái shìto go去qù(completed / change)了le (it did rain).
    • not to be concerned不管bù guǎn + every possibility: not to be concerned不管bù guǎndown下xià不下雨bù xià yǔ,I / me我wǒall / both都dōuto go去qù (rain or no rain).

    • all / both都dōu / also也yě goes after the subject of the result: he / him他tāall / both都dōunot不bùto renounce放弃fàng qì.
