IntroducedKalimat pasif dalam tenses apa pun
- Kalimat pasif tidak hanya ada pada present dan past — ia berfungsi di setiap tenses.
- Cukup ubah be; bentuk lampau tak beraturan (past participle) tetap sama.
- It has been done. It will be done. It is being done.
Kue itu telah dimakan sebelum siapa pun mengakui melihatnya.
Bentuk di setiap tenses
- Present perfect: has / have been + p.p. → Jembatan itu telah diperbaiki.
- Future: will be + p.p. → Pekerjaan itu akan diselesaikan segera.
- Modal: must / can be + p.p. → Hal itu harus selesai hari ini.
Passive sama, empat tenses
Passive mengikuti setiap tense — hanya 'be' yang mengubah bentuknya; past participle tidak pernah berpindah.
Pilih present perfect passive: The bridge ___.
Present perfect passive = has/have been + past participle.
Lengkapi future passive: The work will ___ done soon. (satu kata)
Future passive = will be + past participle: “will be done”.”
Pelaporan pasif (it is said that …)
- Untuk melaporkan pendapat umum tanpa menyebut sumber: It is said / believed / thought that ….
- Atau: subject + is said / believed to + verb.
- It is said that he is rich. = He is said to be rich.

Ya — “It is said/believed/thought that …” melaporkan pendapat secara impersonal.
Terjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Inggris: 据说他很有钱。
Pelaporan impersonal → “It is said that he is very rich.”
Mengapa menggunakannya
- Umum digunakan dalam berita dan tulisan formal.
- Melaporkan informasi yang belum terkonfirmasi secara objektif, tanpa menyebutkan sumber.
Kesalahan umum
- ❌ The bridge has repaired. → ✓ The bridge has been repaired. — jangan buang kata been.
- ❌ The problem must be solve. → ✓ …must be solved. — modal + be + participle.
- ❌ He is said that he is rich. → ✓ It is said that he is rich. / He is said to be rich.
Pasangkan tense dengan bentuk passivenya.
be memuat tense; participle tidak pernah berubah.
Lengkapi dengan satu kata: The road is ___ repaired at the moment.
Continuous passive: is / are being + participle.
- Pasif = be (tenses apa pun) + past participle.
- Perfect: has been + p.p.; future: will be + p.p.
- It is said that … melaporkan pendapat secara impersonal.
Tulis satu kalimat pasif menggunakan tense perfect atau future (misalnya: “… has been built”, “… will be opened”).”
