是否 + verbe / adjectif — "si (ou non)"

whether (or not)是否shì fǒu est un is or isn't是不是shì bú shì formel et écrit — "si (ou non)." Il forme ou intègre une question oui/non, devant un verbe ou un adjectif.

    Structure : 是否 + Verb / Adjective

please请qǐngconfirm确认què rènthe details信息xìn xīwhether是否shì fǒucorrect正确zhèng què。

Veuillez confirmer si les détails sont corrects.

your你nǐparents父母fù mǔwhether是否shì fǒuagree to同意tóng yìyou你们nǐ menliving住zhùtogether在一起zài yì qǐ?

*Vos parents sont-ils d'accord pour que vous viviez ensemble ?

Souvenez-vous : whether (or not)是否shì fǒu = le is or isn't是不是shì bú shì écrit ("si"). Même fonction, registre formel — naturel dans un formulaire ou un rapport, raide dans un chat (où vous diriez is or isn't是不是shì bú shì).

    Faites attention

    • Il se place devant le verbe/adjectif : whether (or not)是否shì fǒucorrect正确zhèng què, pas correct正确zhèng quèwhether (or not)是否shì fǒu (la queue "…ou non" est whether or not (at the end…与否yǔ fǒu, ci-dessous).

Verbe / Adjectif + 与否 — "si (ou non)"

whether or not (at the end…与否yǔ fǒu est une particule classique pour "… ou non" — elle nominalise une question oui/non en une expression abstraite, placée à la fin d'une proposition. C'est très formel.

    Structure : Verb / Adjective + 与否

success成功chéng gōngor not与否yǔ fǒu,要yàois down to靠kàoyourself自己zì jǐ。

Que vous réussissiez ou non dépend de vous.

this这zhè件jiànmatter事shìimportant重要zhòng yàoor not与否yǔ fǒudepends on,取决于qǔ jué yúhow you你nǐ怎么zěn mesee it看kàn。

Que cela compte ou non dépend de votre point de vue.

Souvenez-vous : whether or not (at the end…与否yǔ fǒu = "… ou non," accroché à la FIN pour créer un sujet — success成功chéng gōngwhether or not (at the end…与否yǔ fǒu ("la question de savoir si vous réussissez"). Il transforme une question oui/non en une phrase type nom. Très formel ; whether (or not)是否shì fǒu mène, whether or not (at the end…与否yǔ fǒu suit.

    Faites attention

    • Il vient après le verbe/adjectif (success成功chéng gōngwhether or not (at the end…与否yǔ fǒu) — la version positionnée au début est whether (or not)是否shì fǒu.

    Nom + 之 + Nom — 的 littéraire

(of — literary)之zhī est l'équivalent classique / écrit du possessif (modifier / structural particle)的de, présent dans des expressions figées, des titres et des documents officiels. Il ne remplace pas tous les (modifier / structural particle)的de — il est fixé à certaines associations.

    Structure : Noun + 之 + Noun

to harm others害人hài rén之zhīa mind心xīnone must not have不可有bù kě yǒu。

    Ne jamais nuire aux autres.

    these这些zhè xiēmethods方式fāng shìstill仍rénghave有yǒushort-不足bù zú之zhīcomings处chù。

Ces méthodes ont encore des lacunes.

Souvenez-vous : (of — literary)之zhī = le (modifier / structural particle)的de littéraire — mais fixé aux expressions figées, pas un remplacement libre : somewhat三分sān fēn(of — literary)之zhīone / a一yī (un tiers), to anticipate意料yì liào(of — literary)之zhīto hit (the mark)中zhōng (comme prévu), insufficient不足bù zú(of — literary)之zhīplace处chù (points faibles). Apprenez les phrases dans leur intégralité.

    Faites attention

    • Vous ne pouvez pas épandre (of — literary)之zhī à la place de n'importe quel (modifier / structural particle)的de — 我之书wǒ zhī shū est incorrect ; c'est I / me我wǒ(modifier / structural particle)的debook书shū.
    5.4

    Statement + 嘛 — "évidemment, bien sûr"

La particule (obviously)嘛ma marque quelque chose comme auto-évident du point de vue de l'orateur — "évidemment, bien sûr." (Même sonorité que le (yes/no ?)吗ma de question, mais fonction différente.)

    Structure : Statement + 嘛

    if you don't不bùwant to想xiǎnggo去qùthen就jiùdon't不要bú yàogo去qù嘛ma。

Si tu ne veux pas y aller, alors ne va pas — évidemment.

    he他tāpretty挺tǐngwell-off有钱yǒu qián的de嘛ma。

    Il est clairement plutôt aisément.

Souvenez-vous : (obviously)嘛ma = "évidemment, bien sûr" — cadre le point comme auto-évident (unexpectedly不想bù xiǎngto go去qùthen / just就jiùdon't不要bú yàoto go去qù(obviously)嘛ma, "alors ne va pas, évidemment"). Même sonorité que la question (yes/no ?)吗ma, fonction opposée : (obviously)嘛ma affirme, (yes/no ?)吗ma interroge.

    Faites attention

    • Ne confondez pas sa prononciation avec (yes/no ?)吗ma — (obviously)嘛ma forme une affirmation (légèrement impatiente), pas une question.
    5.5

    Sentence + 呗 — "(bien) évidemment, alors"

La particule familière modal particle indicating…呗bei signale que quelque chose est évident ou simplement comme ça — "bon, évidemment ; alors juste … ; soit." Il peut aussi exprimer une résignation ou un manque d'enthousiasme.

    Structure : Sentence + 呗

if you can't不会bú huìthen就jiùjust好好hǎo hǎolearn it学xué呗bei。

Si tu ne peux pas, alors apprends-le — simple.

    if you don't不bùwant to想xiǎnggo去qùthen就jiùdon't不bùgo去qù呗bei。

Si tu ne veux pas y aller, alors ne va pas, ah bah.

Souvenez-vous : modal particle indicating…呗bei = un haussement d'épaules : "bon, évidemment / alors juste… / tant pis." Très familier, souvent légèrement résigné (improbable不会bú huìto attend school就学jiù xuémodal particle indicating…呗bei, "si tu ne sais pas, alors apprends-le — quoi d'autre ?"). Il passe la question comme étant claire.

    Faites attention

    • C'est très familier et peut sembler méprisant — lisez la résignation dans son ton.
