心疼
心疼 · xīnténg
to feel distressed for someone; to begrudge using a valued resource
心疼 can mean feel distressed for someone, as in seeing a child tired, or be reluctant to spend or use something valuable. It does not necessarily mean physical pain in the heart.
看到孩子这么累,她很心疼。
kàn dào hái zi zhè me lèi, tā hěn xīn téng。
