this و that (شيء واحد)
- this = شيء واحد قريب مني.
- that = شيء واحد بعيد عني.
- This is my phone. That is your car.
أنت تمسك قلمًا. أيهما الأفضل؟
شيء قريب منك → this: “This is a pen.”
these و those (أشياء كثيرة)
- these = أشياء قريبة مني. those = أشياء بعيدة.
- These are my books. Those are her friends.
- تحتاج إلى اسم جمع: these books.
this, that, these or those?
قريب أم بعيد؟ واحد أم كثير؟ ذلك يختار الكلمة.
أكمل (بعيد + جمع): ___ are my shoes over there.
Far + plural → those: “Those are my shoes.”
هل هذه صحيحة؟ “These book are new.”
“these”需要一个复数名词: “These books are new.”
Translate into English: 那些是我的书。
Far + plural → those + are + plural noun: “Those are my books.”
مع الأسماء

أخطاء شائعة
- ❌ these book → ✓ these books — اسم جمع بعد these / those.
- ❌ This books are mine. → ✓ These books are mine.
- على الهاتف، قُل: ✓ This is Tom. (وليس I am Tom)
