A day with no break
- You were so busy at work that you didn't have a single break.
- I我today今天busy忙(degree marker)得even连readily一口water水(even)都didn't没to shout喝。 — "I was so busy today I didn't even have a sip of water."
even连 + X + (even)都 / also也 + don't不 / didn't没 + Verb
- even连 X (even)都/also也 + negative = "not even X": X is the smallest or easiest thing, and still it didn't happen.
- X moves before the verb: even连his他(modifier / structural particle)的name名字(even)都don't不know知道.
I我even连his他的name名字(even)都don't不know知道。
Complete: “He doesn't even know my name.” 他____我的名字都不知道。

连 X 都 + negative = not even X.
The minimum didn't happen

X before the verb
- The even连 phrase comes before the verb: even连cooked rice饭(even)都didn't没variant of 吃吃, not didn't没variant of 吃吃even连cooked rice饭.
- Keep (even)都 / also也: even连water水didn't没to shout喝 is incomplete; say even连water水(even)都didn't没to shout喝.
Which sentence is correct?

他连早饭都没吃 is right: 连 + X + 都/也 + 没 + verb. Without 都 the sentence is incomplete, and 连 must come right before the item it stresses.
even连 + Verb + (even)都 + didn't没 + Verb
- The same verb can repeat: his他even连think想(even)都didn't没think想then就agreed答应(completed / change)了。 — "He agreed without even thinking."
- This shows how little effort or care was taken.
