- room房间really很clean干净,but不过evening晚上slightly有点儿to quarrel吵。 — "The room was clean, though it was a bit noisy at night."
A,but不过 B = but, though (softer)

A friend asks about the hotel you stayed in. It was clean and friendly, but noisy at night. Close the examples. Say a Mandarin response, then write it in Chinese. Explain briefly in English what the lesson’s pattern adds. Compare with the model, then change one detail and try again.
This is supported productive practice. Compare meaning and structure; your answer need not copy the model. A partner or teacher must hear the spoken response to comment on pronunciation.
