Small numbers
- Outcome: read numbers 0–10 as English words. Start with a first exchange.
- Use the written number list. These checks do not test hearing a number.
Zero to five
- 0 zero · 1 one · 2 two · 3 three · 4 four · 5 five
- Point to a digit, then its word. Zero 零 and two 二 name different values.

Six to ten
- 6 six · 7 seven · 8 eight · 9 nine · 10 ten
- Worked near miss: 10 = zero loses the 1. Use 10 = ten.

A room and a quantity
- “Room two” means Room 2. “two pens” gives a quantity of 2 pens.
- Worked repair: for Room 4, “Room five” changes the place. Use “Room four”.

Keep the value with the whole word: one = 1, four = 4, ten = 10.

Room two
Read. Choose the matching room label.

The word two gives the room number 2. This is a label, not a count of every room.
Use a label
- Read the new route sign and choose a quantity. Then write the Room 4 label before showing its model.
- A route or room number labels a place or service; it is not automatically a count.

Eight gives route 8. The sign does not tell you how many buses exist.

Three names the requested quantity. The other labels change it.
Write an English label for Room 4 using the number word. Then compare.
Compare with the meaning and checklist. A model is one possibility; this self-review does not check every answer or award proficiency.
Say two short phrases
- Use the printed Room 6 / two pens card. Say both phrases aloud; a pause is fine.
- Record and replay locally. This is speaking rehearsal from print, not a listening test or reviewed pronunciation model.
