A short email with three points
- Your English friend Sam writes: "Let's go to the park on Saturday. What time can you meet? What shall we take? How will you get there?"
- In A2 Key Writing Part 6 you write at least 25 words and answer all three points. Missing one point loses marks even if your English is good.
Plan the three points first
- Write the points as a quick list: time → 11 o'clock; take → sandwiches and a ball; travel → by bike.
- Then turn each into a sentence and add a greeting 问候语 and an ending.
Sam asks: what time, what to take, how you will travel. Which answer covers all three points?

A model answer
- "Hi Sam, Great idea! I can meet you at 11 o'clock. Let's take some sandwiches and a ball. I'll come by bike. See you on Saturday! Lin" (about 35 words)
- It answers all three points, uses simple correct sentences and sounds friendly.
Points: Where shall we meet? What should I wear? Who else is coming? → "Let's meet outside the cinema. Wear something warm because it's cold. My cousin Mei is coming too."

Check before you finish
- Did you answer every point? Is it at least 25 words? Did you start and end like a message 留言 (Hi …, See you …)?
- Check simple grammar: future plans with "I'll" or "I'm going to"; times with "at".
A message of 15 words is long enough for A2 Key Writing Part 6.

Write from three cinema points
- Tell Sam the place, the time and what to bring. The city cinema, Saturday at four, and a student card.
- Twenty-five words or more. Missing the place fails the task. A multiple-choice check is only preparation.
Write a short note to Sam with three points. The film is at the city cinema, it is on Saturday at four, and Sam should bring a student card. Why is a note that gives only the time incomplete?
Each content point needs a direct answer. The reader has to be able to act on the place, the time and the card.

All three prompts have to appear. The time alone is one point. The tick is preparation, not the note.
