Reading and Writing rehearsal 01 — campus discoveries
Before you start
Original fixed-form practice. This rehearsal covers reading and writing only. Listening and speaking are unavailable until recordings have been reviewed. It is not a complete four-skill mock. No adaptive routing and no official score prediction.
- Reading: <built-in method items of dict object at 0x7ac63431ae80> items, 30 minutes. 7 task screens.
- Writing: <built-in method items of dict object at 0x7ac614e35240> items, 23 minutes. 12 task screens.
- Complete the Words: type only the missing letters. Multiple choice: choose one answer. Sentence tasks: click chunks in order; click a selected chunk to remove it.
- Writing: compose your own email and discussion in the answer boxes. All ten sentences, the email and the discussion share a 23-minute practice clock. The six-minute sentence-only drill is a local training choice.
- Previous, Next and the numbered navigation let you revisit tasks in the current section. Finish section locks its responses. In a rehearsal, writing starts immediately after reading; review appears after both sections finish.
- The clock runs while you change tasks, switch tabs or reload. At expiry, the section locks automatically. This is a practice timer, not an ETS interface simulation.
- Responses are saved in this browser tab for recovery. After completion, export your responses even if offline; export the review when it loads. Clear attempt removes the saved responses. On shared computers, clear them before leaving.
- Use no dictionary or writing assistant. Free review checks reading and sentence answers and gives writing self-review criteria; it does not mark your composition or predict a TOEFL score.
The clock has no sense of humour. The passages do.
Practice completed
Responses are locked. Review reports raw correct items and unassessed writing. No official score conversion is available.
