Comparative: -er / more … than
- คำคุณศัพท์สั้น: -er → สูง → สูงกว่า, ใหญ่ → ใหญ่ขึ้น.
- คำคุณศัพท์ยาว: more … → แพงกว่า.
- เพิ่ม than เพื่อเปรียบเทียบ: กระเป๋าของฉันใหญ่กว่าของคุณ.
- แบบไม่ปกติ: ดี → ดีกว่า, แย่ → แย่ลง.
Comparative: -er or more?
Short adjectives add -er; longer adjectives use 'more'.
เลือก Comparative: This bag is ___ than that one.
คำคุณศัพท์สั้น → เพิ่ม -er (และเพิ่ม g): big → bigger.
แปลเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ: 我的包比你的大。
เปรียบเทียบกระเป๋า 2 ใบ → comparative + than: “My bag is bigger than yours.”
Superlative: the -est / the most
- สั้น: the + -est → ที่สูงที่สุด.
- ยาว: the most … → ที่สวยที่สุด.
- อย่าลืม the: เขาเป็นผู้ที่ยิ่งที่สุดในห้องเรียน.
- แบบไม่ปกติ: ดี → ดีที่สุด, แย่ → بدสุด.
เติม Superlative: It is ___ film of the year. (good)
“good” เป็นคำไม่ปกติ: the best. อย่าลืม “the”
as … as
- as + adjective + as = "เท่ากันกับ"
- เธอสูงเท่าแม่ของเธอ.
- แบบปฏิเสธ not as … as = "น้อยกว่า": วันนี้ไม่ร้อนเท่าเมื่อวาน.
- รักษารูปแบบพื้นฐานของคำคุณศัพท์ไว้ ไม่ต้องเปลี่ยนเป็นรูปแบบเปรียบเทียบ

ข้อผิดพลาดทั่วไป
- ❌ It is more cheap. → ✓ It is cheaper. — คำคุณศัพท์สั้นใช้ -er.
- ❌ He is taller than me a lot. → ✓ He is much taller than me. — much ต้องวางหน้า.*
- ❌ bigger than your → ✓ bigger than yours.

good / bad เป็นคำไม่ปกติ; happy → happier (y → i); คำคุณศัพท์ยาวใช้ more
เติมคำ: This film is ___ interesting than that one.
interesting เป็นคำคุณศัพท์ยาว → more interesting.
