This frame covers 彼此 vs. 对方. 彼此 and 对方 can both translate as "each other," but they point differently. 彼此 is reciprocal: the action runs both ways, "mutually, one another." Like 互相, it can sit directly before a verb. 对方 names the one counterpart facing you and behaves as a noun., Mutual vs one-directional.
This frame covers 人家 vs. 别人. 别人 is neutral for "other people" or "someone else," with no particular person and no extra feeling. 人家 is colloquial. The two can overlap in a plain generalisation. More often 人家 points to someone already identifiable and carries complaint, warmth, or impatience. It can also be a coy "I." 别人 never means "I.", English has no single word for it — context decides.
