A useful situation
- Your goal: Give a view supported by a reason and a limitation.
- Before you start, recall reason, contrast and personal-view expressions. A reason can support a choice for a particular person without proving the same choice is best for everyone.
我觉得图书馆比较安静。Here 我觉得 means I think and 比较安静 fairly quiet. Which claim is made?
Difficulty 1/5 · 100 coins + a small bonus on first completion today
The phrase introduces a personal view and a degree description in this sentence. It neither names a comparison pair nor makes a universal claim about libraries.
Words you will use

Build the meaning
- I / me我think / feel觉得 introduces a personal view. A reason explains that view; an example supports it without proving it for everyone.
- although虽然……but但是…… acknowledges a limitation. fairly / relatively here比较 can mean relatively / fairly before an adjective, rather than compare.
Work through a decision: I / me我think / feel觉得early morning早上to learn学习fairly / relatively here比较suit / be suitable适合I / me我，because因为that那time时候I / me我vigor精神good好。however不过，early morning早上sometimes有时want / will / need要to go to class上课 — studying in the morning suits me because I feel alert then, but sometimes I have classes in the morning. Identify the view, reason and limitation separately. A useful response may adjust the plan for class days rather than erase the limitation.
Compare a plausible mistake: A supporting example is evidence about its stated situation, not proof for every learner. fairly / relatively here比较convenient方便 can mean fairly convenient in context; A than / compared to比 B convenient方便 explicitly compares two items. Check the frame before importing a comparison item that was never named.
fairly / relatively here比较quiet安静 means fairly quiet here. It does not introduce the A than / compared to比 B comparison structure.
Complete the contrast: 虽然在家方便，____有时太吵。

Studying in the library suits me: it is quiet and has books. It closes at eight, however. Home is more convenient but sometimes noisy. I therefore use the library in the afternoon and review at home in the evening.

Read: 林安觉得图书馆适合下午学习，因为安静。图书馆六点关门，所以她晚上在家复习。Which account preserves her reason and adjustment?
Difficulty 1/5 · 100 coins + a small bonus on first completion today
The account gives a quiet library as the reason for afternoon study and moves evening review home because of the closing time. One alternative ignores that adjustment; the other reverses the places and times. This is Lin An’s arrangement, not a rule for every learner.

Write a preference with one supporting reason and one limitation.
Compare the meaning and structure with the checklist. Your own response may differ from the model.
Use Mandarin for the new sentences or dialogue. You may explain your reasoning in English. Give a fictional personal view about where or when to study. Support it with a specific reason, acknowledge a limitation and adjust the plan in response. Ask a partner whether the same choice would suit their circumstances; do not assume agreement.
If your limitation contradicts the plan, revise the time or place to make the adjustment workable. If you replaced a reason with a repeated opinion, add the circumstance that explains the choice. Keep qualifiers such as sometimes.
