Skip the wait, go yourself

• rather than...与其yǔ qí A，preferably宁可nìng kě / would rather ... (than ...)宁愿nìng yuàn B = "rather than A, (I'd) rather B".
• rather than...与其yǔ qíto wait for等děng(ongoing -ing)着zhe，would rather ... (than ...)宁愿nìng yuànoneself自己zì jǐto go去qù = "rather than wait around, I'd rather go myself."
• It weighs two options and firmly picks B.

rather than...与其yǔ qí + A，preferably宁可nìng kě / would rather ... (than ...)宁愿nìng yuàn + B

• rather than...与其yǔ qí…preferably宁可nìng kě… rejects A in favour of B.

rather than与其yǔ qíwait等着děng zhe，would rather宁愿nìng yuànoneself自己zì jǐgo去qù。
