别说 … ，就是 … 也 … (let alone)

Too hard for adults, never mind kids

• to say nothing of别说bié shuō … ，exactly就是jiù shì … also也yě … = "let alone …, even …".
• to say nothing of别说bié shuōchild孩子hái zi，exactly就是jiù shìadult大人dà rénalso也yěimprobable不会bú huì = "let alone children, even adults can't do it."
• It rules out the easy case by pointing at a harder one.

to say nothing of别说bié shuō + A，exactly就是jiù shì + B + also也yě …

• to say nothing of别说bié shuō…exactly就是jiù shì…also也yě… says if even B fails, A certainly does.

let alone别说bié shuōchildren孩子hái zi，even就是jiù shìadults大人dà rénalso也yěcan't不会bú huì。

• to say nothing of别说bié shuōchild孩子hái zi，exactly就是jiù shìadult大人dà rénalso也yěimprobable不会bú huì = "let alone kids, even adults can't."
