并 / 并且 (combining verbs: and)

Joining two verbs neatly

• variant of 并并bìng / moreover并且bìng qiě links two verb phrases: "and (also)".
• we / us我们wǒ mento discuss讨论tǎo lùnvariant of 并并bìngto decide (to do something)决定jué dìng(completed / change)了le = "we discussed and decided."
• It's a tidy, formal "and" for actions.

VP 1 + variant of 并并bìng / moreover并且bìng qiě + VP 2

• variant of 并并bìng / moreover并且bìng qiě joins two related actions or qualities.

everyone大家dà jiādiscuss讨论tǎo lùnand并bìngdecide决定jué dìng了le。

• to discuss讨论tǎo lùnvariant of 并并bìngto decide (to do something)决定jué dìng(completed / change)了le = "discussed and (then) decided."

For verbs, not nouns

• variant of 并并bìng / moreover并且bìng qiě joins verbs / clauses; for nouns use and / with和hé / with / and跟gēn.
