A useful situation
- Your goal: Follow simple directions and ask for clarification.
- Before you start, recall familiar place names. from从 means from, to / arrive到 to, early先 first and then / again after再 then; directions describe an ordered route rather than a journey duration.
先向左转，再向右转。向左转 means turn left and 向右转 turn right. Which action comes first?

先 marks the first action, left; 再 introduces the later right turn. Spotting a familiar direction without its sequence marker can reverse the route.

Build the meaning
- from从……to / arrive到…… gives a starting point and destination. from从school学校to / arrive到hospital医院 describes a route, not the hospital’s current location.
- early先……then / again after再…… orders actions. towards向left左to revolve转 and towards向right右to revolve转 mean turn left and turn right. Repeat the direction to check understanding.
Work through a decision: For from从school学校to / arrive到hospital医院，early先towards向right右to walk走，then / again after再towards向left左to revolve转 — from school to the hospital, first go right, then turn left — identify the start (school学校), destination (hospital医院) and ordered actions. Compare a plausible mistake: from从school学校to / arrive到hospital医院 names a route from school to hospital; hospital医院at / in在school学校side旁边 locates the hospital beside the school. A route statement alone does not prove the two places are adjacent. If you cannot hear a direction clearly, to ask请to say again再说one time (all the way…一遍 asks for repetition rather than guessing.
early先 and then / again after再 indicate order. Do not choose a route by spotting only one familiar direction word.
