…… 什么的 — "and so on, and the like"

what什么shén me(modifier / structural particle)的de は、カジュアルな手振shǒu zhènりのように、to not be非fēiformula公式gōng shìなリストのmost最zuìback後hòuにto add添tiānえて「～など、そういうもの」とwords言yánいます。グループにto keep in the mouth含hánまれるhe / him他tāのものがclear明白míng báiなsituation場合chǎng hé、Japanese variant of 单単dānone / a一yīのitem項目xiàng mùのback後hòuにJapanese variant of 续続xùくこともあります。

Structure: Noun 1、Noun 2 (+ Noun 3) + 什么的

my我wǒgrandma奶奶nǎi naionly只zhǐeats吃chīvegetables蔬菜shū càitofu、豆腐dòu fuand so on什么的shén me de。

My grandma only eats vegetables, tofu, and the like. → 「おばあちゃんはwild herb野菜yě càiやtofu豆腐dòu fǔ、そういったものをto feed (a person or animal)食shíべますだけども。」

** remember：** what什么shén me(modifier / structural particle)的de = chat (modifier / structural particle)的deな「…and stuff」 — to destroy残cánりをリストアップせずに、手振shǒu zhènりのようにfinger指zhǐしto show示shìします。Japanese variant of 对対duìとなるフォーマルでneutral中立zhōng lì(modifier / structural particle)的deなto show表現biǎo xiànは to wait for等děng / et cetera等等děng děng です（次項cì xiàngto consult a reference参照cān zhào）。

Watch out

カジュアルなto show表現biǎo xiànです——dialect話huàし言葉yán yèではquestion問題wèn tíありませんが、フォーマルなbook書shūきthing物wùにはnot不bùapt適切shì qièです。

…… 等 / 等等 — "etc."

to wait for等děng または et cetera等等děng děng は、リストをよりフォーマルにclosely joined締dìめくくります。「etc., and so forth」というmeaning意味yì wèiです。English (language)英語yīng yǔからoutside外wàiすべきpoint点diǎnとして、そのfront前qiánにコンマはto make使shǐいません。また、want / will / need要yàoto make an appointment約yuēするnoun名詞míng cíのfront前qiánにto install置zhìくこともできます（「… to wait for等děng + category」のto appear形xíng）。

構文gòu wén： A、B、C + 等 / 等等 · A、B 等 + Category

watermelon西瓜xī guāgrapes、葡萄pú taoand so on等等děng děngI，我wǒall都dōulike喜欢xǐ huanto eat吃chī。

** remember：** to wait for等děng / et cetera等等děng děng = フォーマルな「etc.」 — そのfront前qiánにコンマはto enter入rùらない（China中国zhōng guóto tell to語yǔでは apple苹果píng guǒ、banana香蕉xiāng jiāoto wait for等děng とbook書shūき、 apple苹果píng guǒ、banana香蕉xiāng jiāo，to wait for等děng とはbook書shūかない）。カジュアルな what什么shén me(modifier / structural particle)的de のbook書shūき言葉yán yè・neutral中立zhōng lì(modifier / structural particle)的deなJapanese variant of 对対duì義語yì yǔです。

Watch out

to wait for等děng はカテゴリ名前míng qiánのfront前qiánにもto install置zhìけます：Beijing, capital of the…北京běi jīng、Shanghai municipality…上海shàng hǎito wait for等děngcity城市chéng shì（「Beijing, capital of the…北京běi jīngやShanghai municipality…上海shàng hǎiand so on之类zhī lèi(modifier / structural particle)的decity城市chéng shì」）。
