本来 vs 原来 — "originally" の2つの使い方

    どちらも「originally」とJapanese variant of 译訳yìせますが、to make使shǐいpart分fēnけがあります。original本来běn lái = 「originally / at that time当初dāng chūは」、regular通常tōng cháng、back後hòuに状況zhuàng kuàngがJapanese variant of 变変biànわったことをto show示shìす文脈wén màiでto make使shǐわれます。original原来yuán lái = 「outcome結果jié guǒとしてpart分fēnかった」— new新xīnしいJapanese variant of 气気qìづきや、「(Japanese variant of 实実shíは)ずっとそうだった」というmeaning意味yì wèiです。

I我wǒoriginally本来běn láiwas going要yàoto go去qùShanghai上海Shàng hǎibut,但是dàn shìcouldn't去不了qù bu liǎo了le。

I was originally going to Shanghai, but then I couldn't.

    so原来yuán láiyou你nǐare是shìa teacher老师lǎo shī啊a!

    Oh、あなたはteacher先生xiān shēngだったんだ!

Remember: original本来běn lái looks back at a plan that CHANGED ("originally… but"); original原来yuán lái reports a DISCOVERY ("oh, so that's it!"). Tagline forms seal it: original本来běn láithen / just就jiù = "of course, all along"; 原来如此yuán lái rú cǐ = "ah, so that's how it is!"

    Watch out

    • If nothing changed and you mean "it turns out," it's original原来yuán lái, never original本来běn lái.

常常 vs 往往 — "often" の2つの使い方

often常常cháng cháng はJapanese variant of 单単dānpure純chúnな「often」— frequency頻度pín dùであり、in the future将来jiāng láiの計画jì huàにもto make使shǐえます。usually往往wǎng wǎng は「tend(s) to / as a rule」— special特定tè dìngのcondition条件tiáo jiàndown下xiàでのパターンやtrend傾向qīng xiàngをwatch (timepiece)表biǎoし、future intention をto write an account (of…記述jì shùすることはできません。

    he他tāoften常常cháng chángarrives late迟到chí dào。

    He often arrives late.

rich people有钱人yǒu qián réntend to be往往wǎng wǎngrelatively比较bǐ jiàosuperstitious迷信mí xìn。

Rich people tend to be more superstitious.

Remember: often常常cháng cháng = "often" (a count, future-friendly); usually往往wǎng wǎng = "tends to" (a law-like pattern, no future). Test it: I / me我wǒafter以后yǐ hòucan / will会huìoften常常cháng chángto move运动yùn dòng ✓ ("I'll exercise often from now on"), but usually往往wǎng wǎng ✗ there — a tendency can't be a plan.

    Watch out

    • often常常cháng cháng can shorten to always常cháng (常去cháng qù); usually往往wǎng wǎng can't drop a towards往wǎng.

刚 vs 刚才 — 副詞 vs 名詞的時刻語

just now刚gāng はsecondary副fùword詞cí("just"、verb動詞dòng cíの直前zhí qiánにto install置zhìかれます)。just now (variant of 刚才)刚才gāng cái はnoun名詞míng cí(modifier / structural particle)的deo'clock時shí制語zhì yǔ("a moment ago"、(verb suffix)過去guò qù数分shù fēnwithin以内yǐ nèi)であり、Japanese variant of 单単dānalone独dúでto use使用shǐ yòngでき、noun名詞míng cíをto decorate修飾xiū shìすることもあります。

    you你nǐa moment ago刚才gāng cáiwent去qùwhere哪儿nǎr了le?

Where did you go just now?

    I我wǒjust刚gānggot back回来huí lái。

    I just got back.

Remember: just now刚gāng = adverb, glued to the verb (刚到gāng dào, often no (completed / change)了le); just now (variant of 刚才)刚才gāng cái = noun, a point in the recent past (stands alone, takes (completed / change)了le, modifies nouns: just now (variant of 刚才)刚才gāng cái(modifier / structural particle)的dematter事shì). Before an adjective, only just now刚gāng / just recently刚刚gāng gāng works (天刚tiān gāngclear晴qíng, "the sky just cleared").

    Watch out

    • just now (variant of 刚才)刚才gāng cái is a time word — just now (variant of 刚才)刚才gāng cái(modifier / structural particle)的dematter事shì ("the thing just now") works, but just now刚gāng(modifier / structural particle)的dematter事shì doesn't.
