再不…就…了: אזהירה תנאיית

The train departure is approaching

• again / then再zàinot不bùleave走zǒu，we / us我们wǒ menthen就jiùto arrive late迟到chí dào(completed / change)了le。 The speaker warns that further delay in leaving leads to being late.
• This conditional warning presses for timely action. It does not report that the group has already left or already arrived late.

Connect continued non-action to a consequence

• Use again / then再zàinot不bù + action，subject + then就jiù + consequence + (completed / change)了le in the familiar warning: you你nǐagain / then再zàinot不bùvariant of 复习复习fù xí，then就jiùthere's not enough time (to…来不及lái bù jí(completed / change)了le。
• Read not不bù as part of the condition: if the action still does not happen soon, the consequence follows. Do not confuse it with ever again / any more再也zài yěnot不bù, a strong no-repeat stance.

if … not now再不zài bùleave走zǒuthen就jiùlate晚wǎn了le。

Identify condition and result separately

• In again / then再zàinot不bùleave走zǒu，we / us我们wǒ menthen就jiùto arrive late迟到chí dào(completed / change)了le, the condition is not leaving soon; the warned result is lateness.
• The speaker connects the two, but the sentence alone does not give the departure time or prove how many minutes remain.

The condition can involve nature

• again / then再zài不下雨bù xià yǔ，farm crop庄稼zhuāng jiàwill就要jiù yào干死gàn sǐ(completed / change)了le。 The warning concerns continued lack of rain and damage to crops.
• Rain is not a voluntary action by the listener. The pattern can warn about a developing situation as well as urge someone to act.

Contrast urgency with refusal

• if … not now再不zài bùto go去qù，then就jiùthere's not enough time (to…来不及lái bù jí(completed / change)了le warns about delaying a visit. I / me我wǒever again / any more再也zài yě不去bù qù(completed / change)了le expresses a strong intention not to go again.
• The forms differ in both structure and purpose. A single English “not go” shortcut hides the distinction.

State a useful warning

• If a deadline is essential, state it separately: train火车huǒ chē八点bā diǎnto open (transitive or…开kāi，again / then再zàinot不bùleave走zǒuthen就jiùthere's not enough time (to…来不及lái bù jí(completed / change)了le。 The time makes the warning easier to assess.
• In a new example, identify the condition, predicted consequence and any actual deadline. A warning is not proof that the consequence has occurred.
