ספר סיפור קצר בסדר זמני
הוצגהמיקום המנוהל נשמר בדפדפן הזה. המשך אינו משלים את השיעור או עונה על שאלותיו.
A useful situation
- Your goal: Recount events and distinguish sequence from cause.
- Before you start, recall time words and familiar actions. first先, then然后 and finally最后 organise a sequence; a repeated event and a request to repeat an action have different contexts.
他先去学校,然后去商店。先 means first, 然后 then and 商店 shop. Which claim follows?

The markers establish event order. They do not supply a cause or the places’ spatial relationship. Keep sequence, cause and location as separate claims.
Words you will use
- first先 xiān — first. I / me我first先to go去school学校。
- then然后 ránhòu — then. then然后to go去library图书馆。
- finally最后 zuìhòu — finally. finally最后to return home回家。
- again, repeated event又 yòu — again, repeated event. he / him他again, repeated event又to arrive late迟到(completed / change)了。
- again, subsequent action再 zài — again, subsequent action. to ask请to say again再说first一次。
Match each word with its meaning in this unit.

Use the example sentences to check each word’s meaning in context.
Build the meaning
- first先……then然后……finally最后…… makes an event sequence clear. It does not by itself explain why one event caused another.
- again, repeated event又 often refers to a repeated event that has occurred; again, subsequent action再 can refer to doing something again afterwards. Compare he / him他again, repeated event又to come来(completed / change)了 and to ask请again, subsequent action再to come来first一次.
Work through a decision: For yesterday昨天I / me我first先to buy买book书,then然后to go去to see看friend朋友,finally最后to return home回家 — yesterday I first bought books, then visited a friend and finally went home — list the three events in that order. Asked why the friend visit happened, leave the reason unknown unless another sentence supplies it. An ordered account is not automatically a causal explanation.
Compare a plausible mistake: he / him他again, repeated event又to come来(completed / change)了 reports another arrival in that context; to ask请again, subsequent action再to come来first一次 asks for another visit. These examples differ in event status, not just their English word again. Other constructions need their own context; do not force one past/future rule onto every again, repeated event又 or again, subsequent action再.
Sequence alone does not prove causation. Keep again, repeated event又 and again, subsequent action再 tied to the event’s timing and meaning.
Complete the final step marker: 先去学校,然后去图书馆,____回家。

最后 marks the last event.
林安先吃饭,然后写作业,最后休息。吃饭 means eat, 写作业 do homework and 休息 rest. First list the sequence. Which activity is between eating and resting?

然后写作业 places homework after eating and before 最后休息. The sequence does not establish how long any activity lasts or why she chose that order.
Listen for a fresh detail
- Listen before revealing the script.
- Replay if you need to. This is practice: if playback is unavailable, use the script as reading and return to listening on a device with Mandarin playback.

- The reading and listening have different details. Use the material for the question you are answering.
- Read once for the situation, then again for the relevant detail. Reveal help when needed.

Read: 昨天王力先去医院,然后回家。今天他又去了医院。Which retelling preserves the sequence and repetition?
Difficulty 1/5 · 100 coins + a small bonus on first completion today
昨天 and 今天 put the visits on different days; 又去了 reports today’s repeated visit in this account. It is not merely a future request or a second visit yesterday. The account supplies no cause or diagnosis.
Speak, write, and review
- Tell a partner a three-event day. They retell it in the same order and ask about one detail.
- Record yourself privately or work with a partner. First try without the model, then compare the meaning and structure; a text checker cannot assess your pronunciation.
I / me我first先to go去school学校,then然后to read看书,finally最后to return home回家。you你first先to make做what什么?
- Write a three-event story, then a sentence about a planned repeat.
- Tomorrow, recall an ordered account and explain what it does not say about cause. Later, change a reported repeat into a request for another occasion and explain the change in event status.
Recount events and distinguish sequence from cause. Use the examples as support, then try a fresh version. Completing these exercises records practice, not a guarantee of mastery.

Write a three-event story, then a sentence about a planned repeat.
Compare the meaning and structure with the checklist. Your own response may differ from the model.
Use Mandarin for the new sentences or dialogue. You may explain your reasoning in English. Create a short fictional account with three ordered events. Add either a clearly reported repeated event or a request to repeat an action. Ask a partner to reconstruct the order and identify one reason the account does not supply. Speak or write the account before checking.
If your retelling reverses two events, match them to the sequence markers again. If a requested repeat becomes a reported event, revise its status. Add an explicit reason only when you are deliberately authoring it as a new fictional detail.
