A conversation is disrupting work, so you ask for less talking. What does 少说话。 communicate?
The request is to reduce talking. 少 may refer to frequency, duration or amount depending on the action. It does not necessarily mean complete silence.

A conversation is disrupting work, so you ask for less talking. Close the examples. Say a Mandarin response, then write it in Chinese. Explain briefly in English what the lesson’s pattern adds. Compare with the model, then change one detail and try again.
