A student did not revise and then received a poor result. What does 他没复习，结果考得很差。 communicate?
结果 introduces the outcome in the narrative. 结果 may also introduce a favourable or expected outcome. It does not by itself prove that the earlier event was the sole cause.

结果 reports what followed. Surprise or bad news is common in some examples but not compulsory.

A student did not revise and then received a poor result. Close the examples. Say a Mandarin response, then write it in Chinese. Explain briefly in English what the lesson’s pattern adds. Compare with the model, then change one detail and try again.
This is supported productive practice. Compare meaning and structure; your answer need not copy the model. A partner or teacher must hear the spoken response to comment on pronunciation.
