Which qualification leads where

• A-LevelGood route

  Offers are written as A-Level grades. Check the required subjects, not only the grades.录取条件直接写成 A-Level 成绩。除了分数，也要看课程要求的科目。

• IB DiplomaGood route

  Offers ask for total points and scores in higher-level subjects.录取条件通常是总分加高级课程（HL）科目分数。

• AP and a US high-school diplomaPossible

Choose and apply

• Shortlist courses on UCAS and note each course's required subjects and grades.在 UCAS 上筛选课程，记下每个课程要求的科目和成绩。

English and offers

• Meet the English level: at least CEFR B2 for a degree, tested the way your university accepts.达到英语要求：本科至少欧标 B2，并用大学认可的方式证明。 [9]

Before you fly

Visa

• You need a Student visa and a CAS from a licensed university; apply within 6 months of getting the CAS.需要学生签证，以及持牌大学发的 CAS；拿到 CAS 后 6 个月内申请。 [10]

Work during and after studies

When you arrive

• Register with a local doctor (GP) soon after you arrive.抵达后尽快注册当地家庭医生（GP）。

Common mistakes

• The money rule is strict: the 28 days in a row must end within 31 days of your visa application.存款规定很严格：连续 28 天的存款期必须在递交签证申请前 31 天内结束。 [12]
• Mainland China is on the TB test list, so plan the clinic visit before you apply.中国大陆在需要肺结核检测的名单上，申请签证前要先安排体检。 [16]
