• University of Nottingham Malaysia Semenyih, Selangor

  Accepts You can transfer permanently to the UK or Ningbo campus — but you then pay that campus's fees, in its own currency. A 2+2 route exists and is the exception to the locked Malaysian fee.可永久转学至英国或宁波校区——但届时按该校区标准、以当地货币缴费。另有 2+2 路径，是马来西亚锁定学费的例外情形。

Choose the campus

• Decide between a British or Australian branch campus and a Malaysian university — the fee, the award and the transfer options all differ.在英澳分校与马来西亚本土大学之间做选择——学费、学位与转学选项都不同。
• Ask for a written fee schedule. Several large private universities do not publish their international fees on an open page, so a number from an agent is not a quote.索取书面收费表。若干大型私立大学并未在公开网页上公布国际学生学费，中介给出的数字并不等于正式报价。
• If you might transfer to the home campus later, ask what that costs before you enrol — you switch to that campus's fees in its own currency.若日后可能转到本部校区，入学前先问清费用——届时将按该校区标准、以当地货币缴费。 [11]

After you arrive

• Read the part-time work rules before you take a job: applications go through your university and need Immigration's prior approval, and cashier roles are not permitted.打工前先读清兼职规定：申请须经学校提交并获移民局事先批准，且不得担任收银员。 [5]

Scholarships and funding

• Nottingham Malaysia High Achiever's Scholarship [9]

  25%, 20% or 15% off the tuition, for the whole degree.整个学位期间减免学费的 25%、20% 或 15%。

  Awarded on your qualification: A-Level AAA / AAB / ABB, IB 36 / 34 / 32, AP 5,5,5 / 5,5,4 / 5,4,4, or a Chinese senior high school diploma at 95% / 90% / 85%. Engineering departments additionally require mathematics and physics. Visa

Work during and after studies

• ⚠️ The two official sources do not agree. Education Malaysia says 20 hours a week ONLY during semester breaks or holidays of more than 7 days; the Immigration Department says 20 hours a week during the study period, at approved locations. Plan on the restrictive reading.⚠️ 两个官方来源说法不一致。马来西亚教育全球服务中心称每周 20 小时，且仅限超过 7 天的学期假；移民局称在学期间即可每周 20 小时，但须在批准的地点。请按较严格的说法安排。 [5]

When you arrive

Common mistakes

• The advertised fee is not the fee. A 6% sales and service tax is added for non-Malaysians, and the student pass adds about RM2,250 in its first year before insurance, or over RM2,700 with it.标示的学费不是最终学费。非马来西亚公民另加 6% 销售与服务税，且首年学生准证在保险之外约需 2,250 林吉特，含保险则超过 2,700 林吉特。 [2]
• Several large private universities do not publish an international fee page you can open. Treat any figure from an agent or a ranking site as unverified until the university puts it in writing.若干大型私立大学没有可公开查看的国际学生收费页面。中介或排名网站给出的数字，在校方书面确认前一律视为未经核实。
• Transferring to the home campus is real, but it is not a discount: you move onto that campus's fees, in its own currency.转到本部校区确实可行，但那不是打折：届时按该校区标准、以当地货币缴费。 [11]
