A useful situation
- Your goal: Identify who, what, and why across linked sentences.
- Before you start, recall references to earlier ideas and connectors for result and contrast. Keep quantifiers such as some有些, some, attached to the people or situations they actually describe.
老师把活动改到午休。这个安排更方便。The teacher moved the activity to lunch break; this arrangement is more convenient. What does 这个安排 refer to?

The phrase points back to the arrangement just described. It does not introduce an exam result or refer to every school activity. Find the antecedent before interpreting the evaluation.

- Pronouns and phrases such as this这个method办法 refer back to earlier information. Find the referent before choosing a gap answer.
- therefore因此 introduces a result; however然而 introduces a contrast. Use the relationship between clauses rather than recognising the connector alone.
Work through a decision: school学校(把: marks the object)把to exercise活动to change改to / arrive到afternoon下午，therefore因此more更many多student学生can / be able to能participate参加。however然而，some有些student学生afternoon下午want / will / need要to go to class上课，still仍然cannot不能to come来 — the activity moves to the afternoon, so more students can join; however, some still have classes then and cannot come. The first connector gives a result; the second introduces a remaining limitation. More is not everyone.
Compare a plausible mistake: therefore因此 introduces a result in these examples; however然而 introduces a contrast. Recognising the word alone is insufficient: name the two ideas being connected. some有些student学生still仍然cannot不能to come来 preserves a subgroup that cannot attend, even when participation has increased overall.
More participants does not mean everyone can attend. Keep qualifiers such as some有些 in your explanation.
