Complex numbers: multiply = rotate and scale
- Polar form $re^{jθ}$: moduli multiply/divide, arguments add/subtract — $6\angle 30^{\circ} ÷ 2\angle 80^{\circ} = 3\angle -50^{\circ}$ directly.
- The inverse operation must return the start — that round-trip is the check.

(8∠15°)/(2∠40°) equals —
Độ khó 1/5 · 100 xu + phần thưởng nhỏ khi hoàn thành lần đầu tiên hôm nay
Divide moduli (8/2 = 4), subtract arguments (15° − 40° = −25°). Multiplying back must return 8∠15° — the round-trip check.
The roots of s^2 + 2s + 5 = 0 in polar form are —
Độ khó 1/5 · 100 xu + phần thưởng nhỏ khi hoàn thành lần đầu tiên hôm nay
s = -1 +/- j2: modulus sqrt(1+4) = 2.236, argument 180 - 63.4 = 116.6 degrees. Check: (-1+j2)^2 + 2(-1+j2) + 5 = 0 exactly.
3 at -50 degrees times 2 at 80 degrees returns —
Độ khó 1/5 · 100 xu + phần thưởng nhỏ khi hoàn thành lần đầu tiên hôm nay
Multiplication is the inverse of the division that produced 3 at -50: moduli 3x2 = 6, arguments -50 + 80 = 30 - and the inverse operation must return the start. That round trip is the free check.
