A process, not a single moment
- as随着 needs a gradual change; for a single event, use because因为 or since (a time)自从: since (a time)自从he他to come来(completed / change)了after以后….
- The as随着 phrase may precede the subject or follow it. Choose a complete clause that clearly identifies the accompanying development.

- because因为 gives a cause: because因为to rain下雨，competition (sports etc)比赛to cancel取消(completed / change)了.
- as随着 links two changes that grow together over time: as随着the internet网络(modifier / structural particle)的spreads普及，online shopping网购more and more越来越convenient方便.
