Growing up fast
- Your nephew was tiny last year; now he reaches your shoulder.

A + is as … as有 + B + (so much这么 / so那么) + Adjective
- A is as … as有 B (so那么) + Adj = "A is as Adj as B": A reaches B's level.
- It is often used in questions and with rapid快 or already已经: he他is as … as有you你tall高(yes/no ?)吗？ — "Is he as tall as you?"

A 有 B 那么 + Adj asks whether A reaches B's level.
Reaching a level
- this这个watermelon西瓜is as … as有a basketball篮球so那么big大。 — "This watermelon is as big as a basketball."
- With already已经: I我(modifier / structural particle)的Chinese language中文already已经is as … as有he他so那么good好(completed / change)了。 — "My Chinese is already as good as his."

A + 有 + B + 那么 + Adj.
Bare adjective, and not have / haven't没有 for "not as"
- No degree / adjective linker很: is as … as有he他so那么tall高, not is as … as有he他degree / adjective linker很tall高.
- The negative is not have / haven't没有, which you know already: he他not have / haven't没有I我tall高 — "He isn't as tall as me."
Which sentence is correct?

他有我这么高 is right: A 有 B (这么) + bare adjective, "as tall as me". 很 is not used in a comparison, and 这么 comes before the adjective.
The negative of 他有我高 is 他没有我高.

没有 is the negative of the 有 comparison.
is as … as有…so那么 versus and跟…equally一样
- and跟 B equally一样 + Adj says the two are equal: he他and跟I我equally一样tall高.
- is as … as有 B so那么 + Adj says A reaches B's level, often as a question or a surprise: he他is as … as有I我so much这么tall高(yes/no ?)吗？
