This unit selects exactly two of six choices for an equivalence task, checks both contextual fit and the meaning of the resulting sentences, and rejects synonym pairs that reverse the passage's logic.

Predict what belongs in the blank from the whole sentence: only a few errors supports a different judgement from errors throughout.

Then group possible equivalents.

A word can have several meanings, such as reserved, so the complete sentence selects the sense.

Sentence equivalence has six choices and needs exactly two; one correct word earns nothing and a third invalidates the answer.
