Frame a time with when当 … (modifier / structural particle)的time时候
- when当 + clause + (modifier / structural particle)的time时候，main clause provides a when/while frame. In when当I我get home回家(modifier / structural particle)的time时候，to get dark天黑(change or completed event, in context)了。, the homecoming is the time frame for the statement about darkness.
