看重 means value or attach importance to a quality, person or thing. Compare 看中 for taking a liking to something or selecting it; the two words sound the same.
这家公司很看重员工的学习能力。

眼看
眼看 · yǎnkàn
to see something happen; to be on the point of happening
眼看 can introduce something visibly about to happen, as in 眼看就要下雨 (it is about to rain). It can also mean watch something happen; the whole sentence determines the use.
眼看就要下雨,我们赶快回家。
yǎn kàn jiù yào xià yǔ, wǒ men gǎn kuài huí jiā。
