to desire将 / will将要 / auxiliary verb introducing…将会 (formal future)
Read tomorrow’s notice
- A school notice says meeting会议to desire将at / in在tomorrow明天to hold (a meeting…举行。 – the meeting will be held tomorrow. The notice places the event after today.
- It reports the announced plan. Reading it today does not show that tomorrow’s meeting has already happened.
Keep the subject and future action
- Put to desire将 / will将要 / auxiliary verb introducing…将会 before the future action phrase: school学校auxiliary verb introducing…将会to announce公布outcome结果。 – the school will announce the results.
- In the meeting example, at / in在tomorrow明天 supplies the time and to hold (a meeting…举行 supplies the event. to desire将 does not mark meeting会议 as an object to move.
meeting会议will将at在tomorrow明天be held举行。
Separate future and object uses
- meeting会议to desire将at / in在tomorrow明天to hold (a meeting…举行。 announces a future event. please请object marker将door门close关上。 asks someone to close the door; gate门 is the affected object.
- The same written to desire将 does different jobs. Read the whole action phrase, rather than translating every to desire将 as will.
Re-read a changed time
- A revised fictional notice changes tomorrow’s start from 14:00 to 15:00. The announced start is now one hour later.
- Use the revised time when planning your arrival. Neither the future form nor a time on the notice proves the meeting actually began then.
Choose a register, not a certainty level
- to desire将 is common in formal written announcements. In a chat about tomorrow, we / us我们tomorrow明天want / will / need要to hold a meeting开会。 is an ordinary alternative.
- A formal style does not make a plan impossible to cancel. meeting会议already已经to hold (a meeting…举行(completed / change)了。 instead reports a meeting already held.
Check event, time and evidence
- Identify the subject, the action and its stated future time. Keep a future announcement separate from a completed-event report.
- When to desire将 puts an object before an action, read that object use separately. Register alone does not tell you which job to desire将 performs.
Practise this pattern step by step.

1101.7 1–B: school学校auxiliary verb introducing…将会to announce公布outcome结果。 = Announce a future action; 2–A: to ask请将门to close (a door)关上。 = Ask for an action on the door; 3–C: meeting会议already已经to hold (a meeting…举行(completed / change)了。 = Report a meeting already held

- I can explain the meaning of the pattern, rather than only naming it.
- A revised fictional notice changes tomorrow’s start from 14:00 to 15:00. The announced start is now one hour later.
- Use the revised time when planning your arrival. Neither the future form nor a time on the notice proves the meeting actually began then.
- I tried a second response with a name, time, place, or description changed.
This is supported productive practice. Compare meaning and structure; your answer need not copy the model. A partner or teacher must hear the spoken response to comment on pronunciation.
Fresh-situation answers
R1. to desire将 introduces the future update in this notice. It does not mean past tense. The time Friday周五 and surrounding context still matter for the reference point.
R2. One possible response. library图书馆to desire将(of time or place) in于下周一(of libraries, museums etc)…闭馆一天。This announces a planned future closure. library图书馆下周一(of libraries, museums etc)…闭馆一天 can also convey it; to desire将 is a formal option, not an obligatory tense ending.
Recall later. Later, rewrite a future notice in conversational language with the same date.
