A useful situation
- Your goal: Arrange an activity while keeping conditions clear.
- Before you start, recall future time expressions and simple positive/negative actions. if如果 introduces a condition; although虽然…but但是 links a contrast rather than cancelling either statement.
如果不下雨，我就去公园。This means if it does not rain, I will go to the park. Which fact is established?

The sentence sets a condition and intended result. It supplies neither an actual weather report nor evidence of arrival. Keep the if-clause conditional.

Build the meaning
- if如果……then / just就…… presents a condition and its result. It does not say the condition has already happened.
- although虽然……but但是…… presents a contrast: although虽然很累，but但是I / me我want / think / miss想to go去. Explain why someone’s choice may differ from your expectation.
Work through a decision: For if如果tomorrow明天to have / there is有(concept of) time时间，I / me我then / just就take part参加activity活动 — if I have time tomorrow, I will join the activity — separate the condition to have / there is有(concept of) time时间 from the intended action take part参加activity活动. Asked whether participation is confirmed, say it depends on having time. The sentence alone supplies no timetable proving that condition is met.
Compare a plausible mistake: although虽然很累，but但是I / me我want / think / miss想to go去 says the speaker is tired yet wants to go. It does not say the tiredness has disappeared or that the journey has happened. A wish despite an obstacle differs from a condition that must be met; explain the relationship rather than treating both connectors as a general link.
A conditional plan is not proof that the activity will happen. Do not report an if-clause as an event.

如果下雨，活动就在教室里举行。下雨 means rain, 教室里 in the classroom and 举行 take place. First identify the condition and the proposed location. What follows if it rains?

Rain is the condition; the classroom location is the stated result under that condition. The sentence supplies no current weather or cancellation. Do not replace the stated consequence with a guess.

如果…就 keeps the visit conditional on having time. 还没决定几点出发 explicitly leaves the departure time open. The first choice removes the condition; the second invents an agreed hour. Neither completion nor confirmed participation is established.
Speak, write, and review
- Suggest an activity. Your partner adds a weather condition; repeat the conditional plan to confirm it.
- Record yourself or practise with a partner. Try it without the model first, then compare the meaning and word order.
A: Saturday星期六to go去park (for public recreation)公园(suggestion)吧。 B: if如果不下雨，I / me我then / just就to go去。 A: good好，不下雨then / just就to go去。
- Write a plan with one condition and one contrast.
- Tomorrow, recall a conditional plan and a contrasting wish without the model. Later, change the condition and obstacle. Explain which new evidence would be needed before you could report the plan as confirmed.

If you reported the condition as a fact, restore the if relationship. If you removed the obstacle from the contrast, keep it and explain why the wish is still stated. Ask for a missing detail instead of inventing it.
