还是 and 或者 — two ways to say “or”

Tea or coffee?
- A friend offers you a drink. She wants you to choose one.

or还是: “or” in a question
- A or还是 B？ asks someone to choose: you你to go去or还是I / me我to go去？, Will you go or shall I?
- The sentence is already a question, so do not add (yes/no ?)吗: you你to drink tea喝茶or还是drink喝coffee咖啡？, not ……coffee咖啡(yes/no ?)吗？
